The problem is there is less demand for refined oil since the country is on lockdown. HY will run low of storage space if they keep on refining. Too much unsold refined oil now.

i believe hy has better option because they can either sell their refined products to oversea or at least to china hq. petronm may be more trouble since their hq is m'sia.

I think most of hy products are sold locally. However, increasing crack spread and recovery of gasoline and diesel price will eventually push the profit margin higher.

today is probably affected by short-term volatility, look at the volume, probably just a few panic sellers and quickly absorbed by someone ready to collect dip. pity those that sold low just to transfer their wealth to someone with greater patience.
