Contra is risky. Much depends on timing. If u r in in mid upswing then you exit with a smile. Too early then u have to hold afeww days to weeks or even months.. if u enterTail end then you may be stuck indefinitely.

alkop. I am just wondering can I still enter this share or not? Mind to share some experience if it is still good to enter? Since contra is T+3. If they reach it on monday. would they dump it on Monday and make the stock prices drop? Or maybe Tuesday? since the ex date is next Tuesday? I believe Tuesday the stock prices would drop right? If we dump this share on next tuesday. We would still entitle for dividends right?

Dear all, from experience, these Sapura group always drop after ex-dividend paid out. One can check the graph technically to confirm.

Now is profit taking ..those bought at 1.09 n 1.10 - 1.15 is selling now ..they r not taking dividen..some maybe contra player..Some of the early entry at 1.21 - 1.19 early morning hev confidence the price can go higher or looking for dividen next week...I m keeping for dividen...just my observation...hope coming to 12noon price will be better or the other way round...m no worry bro beginner..riding the tide excitingly

I'm still new to this that's why I said I am a beginner. if you enter at my price. just keep it until you get dividend. since i believe the price would stay there won't drop further. and you can enjoy dividend. but I am just scared it would drop after dividend. as you know. the dividend is not bad.

alkop, glad to see you here. i just notice this counter today. i study back the trend, this counter got low PE which 5.21 and the EPS is 22 sen. sounds great. but then i look back the company profile, the company make loss for last year 3 quater and suddently profit increase dramatically in 4th quater. then this quater net profit shrinking again almost 90%. any comment on this?

I also studied the financial performance n some facts abt d company..As i say i play this counter base on high dividen..unique price movements .rumours on take over..BESIDES the low PE n NTA high..n looking forward for more development since this company now focus on PEA..i.e Property Education n aviation..so i dont mind keeping some for few months...let us watcn..tomoro normally drops whwn ex dividen..let watc excitingly...no promo no recommend...just hev fun watching...
