Glove still generate huge income. Genm right now still at loss. I owned both. Unless covid-19 cases drop below 200 cases a day than things might turn around. Speeding recovery for tourism is unlikely.

Majority of the states in MCO! Klang valley citizens are the major local tourists as for the past few weeks. With restrictions in traveling due to MCO and recent COVID-19 outbreak in Genting Highland, who will go to there anymore? Just pondering, Good Luck!

Previously Genting offered free room for members. And can get a hotel room by redeeming points, at low points without paying cash. Casino less than 50% of patrons. Don't argued with me coz I been there myself. Christmas season suppose to be fill with visitors but not in 2020. Sorry to disappoint you again. CASH FLOW ARE SHRINKING. SELLLLLLLLLL

Don't celebrate if you see green yesterday. Politic currently are seriously bad for market. Genm still suffering & not booming. Fundamental negative. If you said good buy than please explain to me which section of the business are doing well? None of them making profit. Casino revenues not even enough to cover expenses. Hotel occupied because of free rooms & heavy discount. Free meal coupons. Those having friends working at Genting will knows the real story. True is hard. Trade on your own risks.

A company who paid dividend with a sustainable cash flow is a good managed company. Genm burning their cash reserves more quickly instead of building more.

752-Micheal you say business as usual jz comfort urself. The fact is struggling for survival and what EDINVESTOR say is correct, the casino profit not enough to cover expenses. Pls refer bck the company financial report. Then you will know how huge the expenses even aldy redundancy. I predict in coming 2 consecutive QR still incurred big losses.

The Genm current situation not optimistic. mco and cmco probably will extend until after CNY if the covid fail to mitigate.If couldn't made profit at CNY you imagine hw the impact. whole 2021 should be no hope. Maybe 2022 onward only start to made profit if covid under control. But how about if the covid still persist? the recovery may take even longer time.

Short & medium terms doesn't looks good for GENM. But I believed 2022 should be recovering & 2023 should be normal provided US casino stop dragging down with more provision. This counter mean for long-term investor with strong risks appetites.

@752_michael_chan...I sold some shares last week. Yesterday regretted after seeing AirAsia, Airport, GenM & Genting all went up instead of going down. So need to bottom fish again to buyback that portion of shares.

actually over all these years of investment, my findings on share up trend or downtrend....

Its always true on the Buffet famous qoute "Be greedy when market fear, Be alert when market too hot".

It proved to be right again and again, yesterday and monday most people expect the Gemn and Genting dip bottom to RM2 and RM3++... BUt they didn't....

Market are always againts all wishes and predictions...That is why in share market only less than 10% making sustainable profit.

What I mean here, in my opinion...to win the market we have to think out of the box, when most people predict it market down, that is the moment we can seriously consider to buy in...If most people bet on GenM and Genting downtrend in 2021. In my opinion, I would go against everybody wish, to actually buy in 2021.

Coz I know market will not follow majority wish. But it will catch all in surprise...

Just my Two cent.
