titan3322 Current qtr EPS = 21.80 sen preceding qtr 23.45 sen, a decrease of 1.65 sen per share. Need guru Johnzhang to explain again lor ! Again something to do with biological assets ka hehe. Dividend also 5 sen only . Some one said earlier production on the decline but cost on the rise may have some truth lor

You will not make the best return by so doing . Just like you have always been very skeptical that Taann can reach the price today which led you started selling down from $3.30. Just be very objective in analyzing TaAnn’s financial reports.

TAANN IS FLUSHED WITH OVERFLOWING CASH

Don't simply take profit too early

Tell you guys a true life story

In year 2019 a Bank Manager bought Topglove cheap

Then Coronavirus started in March 2020 & Top glove share price shot up to over Rm6.00

Seeing profit she sold Topglove just above Rm6.00.

After taking profit she saw TopGlove share price rose and rose

And kept on rising till Rm26.00

Then TopGlove declared Two Free Bonus for each TopGlove share held

Seeing Topglove at the Lofty Peak of Rm26.00 plus giving 2 Free Bonus she could no longer tahan (and turned itchy; very itchy) and went to buy back her Topglove at Rm26.00


Then due to Glut & China fierce dumping Topglove crashed & she suffered losses even though she initially bought Topglove cheap

So don't make the silly mistake of selling TAANN too early as we are in Palm oil Super Bull

And no threat from China this round as Palm oil needs at least 4 years (time barrier) to grow & produce the 1st drop of Palm oil

So just hold tightly there is no telling that TAANN could morph into another Topglove later with "free bonus"

Hmm.... here's my "amateur" kaki-lima_TM take on tomorrow's activity
From latest QR, result is decent and "within expectation"
However some will think that results is below expectation when compared to the rapid price increase. These people will take profit tomorrow, as soon as possible.
However some will hold and buy, especially those who believe that revenue/profit will climb for the next few quarters.
Tomorrow's going to be a rough (but interesting) trading day.
I won't be doing anything tomorrow. Got work to do, unfortunately. If I want to take profit, I will do it later. No rush.
Why?
If plantation cycle is similar to the 2020/2021 glove/tech hype, still too early to take profit. Ride the bursa bull for a little.... :)

Taann share price will drop tomorrow due to profit taking Just like swkplant when QR out. Few days later Taann share price will rally again due to foreign buying. Plantation counters rally due to foreign buying and every time local institution and retailer sell their palm oil shares foreign funds is happily buying. SMTM Hit & Run strategy do not apply to plantation counters. For plantation correct strategy is buy & hold.

The world is chasing for vege oil that is getting tighter by the day due to a host of reasons. None of these will be going away any time soon. So, sit tight and watch the cpo price make new highs. Profits can only get better. Profit taking in any stock is a given. There is no shares, however good, will run without let up, cheers.

FY21 Core Net Profit (CNP) of RM286m came in 11% above ours and 30% higher than consensus, on higher palm oil prices. CPO prices are expected to stay higher and longer hence FY22-23 Core EPS are upgraded by 113% and 87% on the back of higher CPO price assumptions of RM4,200 and RM3,500 per MT respectively. We are maintaining Market Perform but upgrading TP from RM3.25 to RM6.00 on blended plantation-cum-timber PER of 10x.
