Today Nanyang Business news page 5, One Silly Investment Bank report to reduce invest in plantation stocks. I will keep this article and December 2022 if CPO is 10%+- of today price then I will write to this Investment Bank analyst and ADVICE his/her never write anything about plantation stocks in the rest of his/her life because knowledge about plantation is almost zero and mislead investors.

Sometimes, analysts write with ulterior motive. Most importantly, we do our home work and invest based on facts.

Many investors invest base on IB report therefore they are not buying plantation stocks. This will affect the price of plantation stocks.

What is equally important is whether the earning growth will be sustained after the dividend. Comparing the average CPO price of RM6000 in the 1st Quarters 2022 Vs RM3900 in the1st Quarter 2021, the 1st quarter result will be good. The average CPO price in April so far is above RM6500 and the FCPO price up to July 2022 is above RM6000, so the prospect of sustained earning growth in 2022 looks bright.

KLSE is a strange market. Considering the prolonged crisis in Ukraine and looking at the FCPO data, CPO price will likely remain high for some time. Most Plantation counters will report huge profits in 2022. This stock is undervalue, its price will rebound when common sense prevails. Make your own investment judgement.

For FFB, there is seasonal peak and trough production pattern every year, it is only fair to compare yoy.

MHC IS A SOLID COUNTER WITH A SMALL PAID UP SHARE CAPITAL. IT HAS BEEN MAKING CONSIDERABLE PROFITS AND HAS BEEN PAYING REASONABLE DIVIDENDS YEAR AFTER YEAR. A VALUABLE COUNTER TO KEEP.
THERE COULD BE A POSSIBLITY OF BONUS ISSUE, BUT I DON'T KNOW WHEN. JUST MY OPINION. NOT A BUY OR SELL CALL.

Indonesia flip flop policy caused the correction

I think whether Indonesia ban crude palm oil or Palm olein, it will still boost the price of CPO. If there are less palm olein for sale to the world market, SBO and other oils demand will increase and push up the price. This will also cause the overseas refinery to increase the demand for CPO to refine into palm olein.

Does this sound logical? Please advise. Thanks.

actually CRUDE palm oil is only a 20-40% of their palm oil export only. Majority of their export is PROCESSED palm oil which is currently ban.
