SHAH ALAM: Selangor Menteri Besar Mohamed Azmin Ali has written a letter to Deputy Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin saying that issues concerning the restructuring of the state’s water industry can be resolved immediately.
Azmin said the restructuring process was now in the final stage and that he hoped that it could be finalised before Aidilfitri.
“Yesterday, I managed to meet the DPM, who is also the chairman of the special cabinet committee on Selangor Water Issues, and discussed several issues concerning the restructuring of the water industry and I’m happy that the issues were resolved.
“Today, I have written a letter to the DPM as a follow up to ensure one or two other issues can also be resolved immediately because I really hope that the restructuring process can be finalised before Hari Raya,” he told reporters here today.

"Only one more matter needs to be resolved," he told reporters without elaborating.

He said the ministry's officers met with state officers last week over the matter.

"We have been waiting for two years for the Selangor government's decision. When the deal is done, the Langat 2 water treatment plant project would proceed," he said after presenting aid in conjunction with Ramadan in Kuala Nerang, Kedah, today.

Mahdzir hoped that there would not be any rationing exercise during Aidilfitri.

"We hope there won't be any rationing although it is up to the Selangor government," he said. – Bernama, July 4, 2015.

With Langat2 and 60bil Pengerang Project going on streaming, Engtex will enjoy good income

Market out there have other pipe supplier competitor so for all the water concession project not all contractor will buy from Engtex. Usually contractor will source for the cheapest available in the market. So its hard to make good profit margin in the piping material due to fierce competition.

Anyway they sell not only piping , and also the valves , strainers & fitting for water concession project . I believe the business connection is above .

yapie. You are correct but political and biz connection is equally important. I think the Pie is
big enough. You forgot water Pipe replacement in Selangor and KL which estimate around
10 billion ( to be completed in 10 years )
