The holders of the Warrants 2012/2017 ("Warrantholders") whose
names appear in the Record of Depositors of HTVB for the Warrants 2012/2017 as

The price adjustment for rights issue, because of today is the ex-date. The ratio is 2 rights for every 5 existing shares. Means that if you hold 1000shares, you will get 400 rights(HIAPTEK-LR), the rights will be received on 30 May 2016. As this rights is renounceable, means you can sell/buy it, for few days only(until 03 Jun 2016). Or you can subscribe the RCUIDS @RM0.50, for every RCUIDS subscribed, you will get 1 free warrant & 2 free new shares of hiaptek.

Today the adjustment is according to the ratio of deducting 2/7, means 0.36(yesterday close price) X 5/7 = 0.2571. http://www.bursamalaysia.com/market/listed-companies/company-announcements/5094609

Please correct me if anything I misunderstand.

If at the end LR trade at 0.36 as u estimate, mean his total share worth 104lots LR @ 0.36= 3744 + 208 lots hiaptek @ 0.27 = 5616 and warrent . in total his share worth rm9360 + warernt ? 200lot will get 80lot LR, ( I assume 1 lot is 100 shares), by selling 20,000 shares at 27 sen , the proceed is RM 5400, to subscribe for 8000shares of LR, you need Rm4000, balance cash RM 1400 can be used for Excess application, scenario 1, excess application not successful, RM 1400 being return, means you have cash Rm 1400+ bonus 16000 Hiaptek shares+8000 Hiaptek wb+ 8000 Hiaptek -LA

mean he get back rm1400+ (bonus 16000 @ 0.27 hiaptek share = rm4320) + (8000 LA @ 0.31 (as estimated) = rm2280) + 8000 hiaptek wb

total is rm1400+ RM4320 + RM2480 = RM 8200 + hiaptek wb

his cost was 200lots @ 0.41=RM8200, mean if he sell all and subscribe RCUIDS will make profit rm100 + Wb ?

i should follow this method if i bought at 0.46?

Tan Boon Sun - the bonus entitlement is 8,000 and not 16,000 shares. So on the assumption that the RCUIDS (or LA) is subscribed and share price remains at 27 sen, the position should be

rm 1,400 + RM 2,160 (8,000 bonus shares @27 sen) + RM 4,000 (8,000 LA @ 50 sen) + 8000 new warrants

So the position is a deficit of RM 640.

As a cross-check, by buying at 41 sen, the ex-cost price is worked out to be 29.285 sen ( RM 8,200 divided by 28,000 shares) and selling all the 28,000 shares at 27 sen will lead to loss of RM 640 ( deficit of 2.285 sen multiply by 28,000 shares).
