hevea is a good company...but the problem is the weak sentiment of particle board industry due to over supply...feel that the price will stay at 0.60 - 0.70 level for 3-6 mths..unless they grab d huge orders from Japan which is cater for Olympics next year..

Yes, @Torreira, i believe as long as Hevea get more business orders from Japan, RTA segment can digest the capacity of Particleboard segment. Then both RTA and particleboard can contribute profit to Hevea. Don't hope mushroom, it is not realistic to contribute profit in this year.

so happy to note that final dividend announcement is made at this stage, earlier than what i expected. also noted mushroom operation which incurred loss of RM2 million is expected to bring in profit of rm1million. DY 8% for 2018888888888!

Master Sifu Calvin teach us, if the company can use it by product to generate another income, example TDM turning palm waste to fertilizer, Tmakmur rear animals on its vast land of palm oil plantations( Tmakmur was later taken private at a high price) , HEVEA ALSO TURNING ITS BY PRODUCT IN GROWING MUSHROOM

Hevea utilises its current by-product as substrate for mushroom cultivation. Trial run for the mushroom operation was successfully completed and commercialisation is underway with harvest period of 60 days with production capacity of 3000kgs or 3 tonnes/day. Hevea is supplying its king oyster mushrooms to food stores, local restaurants and an army camp which is nearby its factory. For initial start, the Group targets production of 1.5 tonnes/day or 45 tonnes/month and expects to rake in RM0.5m monthly sales (or RM6m yearly sales). This is in line with our expectation of RM5m yearly sales for 2019 with profit of RM1.0m assuming 20% margin (vs 2018 revenue of RM0.4m and Loss before tax of RM2m).

Most important, vely vely good dividend yield. Hevea, has declared a total dividend declared of 3.6 sen/share for FY2018. We expect the Group to propose a final dividend of 1.2 sen/share next month. This translates into a decent dividend yield of 7.6% based on current share price.

Hevea also has RTA Furniture division which perform better this year with the issue resolve of the foreign labour and anticipate greater demand from Japan driven by the 2020 Olympics. Hevea price will continue to move upwards
