吉隆坡28日讯）国际贸工部（MITI）周一宣布，大马将对从印尼和越南进口的冷轧钢卷和薄板征收7.73%至34.82%的临时反倾销税。市场认为，政府上周开始向外国各类钢材征收反倾销税，对本地钢铁业有利，钢铁股也因此受投资者追捧。

上述临时反倾销税长达120天，从上周六（26日）起生效。贸工部早在本月23日向中国、韩国及越南征收镀锌非合金钢板和钢卷的反倾销税，为期5年，从12月12日开始生效，直至2025年12月11日。

值得一提的是，越南同样也在23日向对中国部份钢铁产品征收为期5年的反倾销税。

中澳摩擦带动钢铁价

另一边厢，中国与澳洲政治摩擦升温，并把紧张氛围带到贸易方面，中国更限制进口澳洲煤炭，其中包括用于炼钢的原料--焦煤，而市场也担忧中国将把进口限制扩大至铁矿石，刺激钢铁价格在近期走高。

截至下午5点，上海期货交易所钢筋价格报每公吨4223人民币，自10月起已上涨约16.88%；而大连期货交易所铁矿石价格则报每公吨1093人民币，在同时段上涨约13.79%

随著政府出手保护本地钢铁业，投资者相信钢铁业者的前景将改善，这令钢铁股周一重拾上升动力。

其中，美丽华工业（MELEWAR，3778，主板工业股）涨25仙或74.63%，至58.5仙，为2016年11月以来的新高水平，成交量达1亿5120万股，是第7大热门股，同时也是第11大上升股。马钢铁厂（MASTEEL，5098，主板工业股）则起18.5仙或34.58%，收报72仙，转手量达1亿3561万股，在热门榜位居第10，并在上升榜排名第17。

协德（HIAPTEK，5072，主板工业股）升2.5仙或5.49%，以48仙挂收，交易量达1亿3318万股，在热门榜排名第11；金狮工业（LIONIND，4235，主板工业股）全天涨11仙或17.46%，至74仙，写下2018年10月以来的最高价位，成交量达1亿2592万股，为第12大热门股；麦克伦钢铁（MYCRON，5087，主板工业股）则全天涨24.5仙或52.69%，为第12大上升股。

KUALA LUMPUR (Dec 28): The gov-
ernment is imposing provisional an-
ti-dumping duties on imports of cold
rolled stainless steel in coils, sheets or any
other form (subject merchandise) from
Indonesia and Vietnam.
The Ministry of International Trade
and Industry (MITI) said it had com-
pleted the preliminary determination of
the anti-dumping investigation concern-
ing imports of the subject merchandise
originating or exported from the alleged
countries and found there were sufficient
evidences for further investigation.

PETALING JAYA: Steel-related counters on Bursa Malaysia began the week with further big gains after the government announced the second round of anti-dumping duties on foreign steel products in less than a week.

With the fresh anti-dumping duties, investors seem to be expecting an improvement in demand for locally-made steel products, which could further support the earnings recovery in the steel sector moving into 2021.
