Shorties basically trap in few ways

a. PPE Stocks market : Prices are booming + zooming up in
i. Thai Stock Index
ii. China Stock Index
iii. Poland Stock Index

- if play short again they have to answer their foreign clients !

iv To hedge : likely to purchase stocks from Market to cover big loss : est. Ringgit 200 Mil (paper loss + EPF interest + Repay Dividend to EPF (Top Glove & Harta)

v ............ Must quickly "top up / buy back" PPE shares from Market (to hedge)
Because
.........est. at least 50 - 100 Million shares that borrow from EPF to short esp. Topglove + Harta + Kossan + Supermax (very minimal) & likely need to settle before end Jan 2021 with EPF ;

and

...........at the same time buy from market , imagine market share price PPE how would it perform ?


b. Biden Emergency Act : Super Billions fund to get PPE

i. Biden have 100 days to prove himself - super desperate to settle the Covid mess
- Biden Team is in execution mode : "BUY SPOT at whatever Price"

ii. Likely...... USA Custom may have no choice to quickly speed up & let go Topglove "bangla case" to allow 500 mil stocks to enter US Health care system , Top glove price will be in good position to price further

Intco, Top Glove, Supermax - A Quick Comparison

Intco Medical, with production capacity 20 billion gloves (about 70% vinyl, lowest profit margin), today closed at all-time high of RMB289.80 per share (Ringgit 181 per share) . This gives the company a market capitalization of exactly RMB100 billion, or RM62.5 billion. This is the world's biggest glove manufacturer right now in terms of market capitalization.

Let's compare this to the Malaysian (indirect) competitors:

Supermax - production capacity 22 billion gloves (68% nitrile, highest profit margin), closed at RM7. This means a total market cap of RM19 billion - more than 3 times lower than Intco.

Top Glove, production capacity 91 billion gloves (45% nitrile, 45% latex), closed at RM6.52. The world leader, controlling more than a quarter of the entire global production of gloves, has a market capitalization of RM53.5 billion, or RM9 billion less than Intco.
