Hi Ali Baba, 1.79 billion within 2qtrs? This may not be what it means I think. 1.79b is the accumulated order book received from the clients as at 30 June 2014, but it doesn't means the 1.79b order can be delivered within the next 2 qrts, in my opinion..

Kimlun is a good counter with Sales of mrt rail sleepers to Singapore. But the sudden huge hike in toll on JB Causeway will impact the profits of Kimlun greatly. So people are selling.
Try to sell and switch to MRCB which benefit toll increase. But there is a matching rise in toll price on Singapore side which might dampen Mrcb share price.
So Calvin's advise is - Try To Buy MRCB on weakness. Alternately you can switch to GSB. See my write up in GSB Forum.
Hmmm...hike in causeway impact Kimlun? Hike in toll reduce people traveling the causeway but then Kimlun is a construction and property company and how can hike in toll affect Kimlun. The only impact will be property sales to the Singaporean. As for constructions, project will still go on. Dont tell me that MRT projects stalled when hike in toll...lol!
i think calvin means that kimlun faces high cost in moving their products to the singapore mrt construction site. but i have no idea if they send the tunnel segments by road or by ship - road seems a bit unlikely to me, but i don't know for sure.
