Good morning everyone
Let’s hit 3 ringgit first
Once this magical number has been broken, let the operators decide how much it is worth once June results out. Every quarter result will be like June results
Can you imagine as long as tin price stay the same but if tin price surge past 30000/ tonne, profits will be more and more.
3 ringgit is very near
If operators want to push it, 4-5 days we will be there
Cheers

Tin boosts silicon performance in lithium-ion batteries
Apr 22, 2021

Tin nanoparticles are key to stabilising silicon-graphite anodes in lithium-ion batteries, according to the latest published research. This work adds to growing evidence demonstrating tin can significantly boost silicon performance. Adding just 2% tin can dramatically improve silicon conductivity in anodes, for example.

........................

Tin is also very much in the race to improve anode performance, either alone or as a synergist with silicon and other materials. “Tin-based materials are strong candidates as the anode for the next-generation lithium-ion batteries due to their higher volumetric capacity and relatively low working potential”, said Fengxia Xin and co-author Nobel Laureate Stanley Whittingham in their 2020 paper.

Our view: This latest paper highlights another fascinating synergy between tin and silicon, confirming the significant potential for new tin use in lithium-ion batteries over the next decade.

TIN new usage = EV Batteries

i. LOOK at the diagram
ii. TIN is NO 1 , SUPER HOT for EV battery makers

With New game changer of material usage where MSC has
i. Rich Mining deposits

ii. Super effective New Facility kicking start at 30% running capacity (eventually 80% - 100% in 4th
qtr 2021) before closing old factory in BW in 2022

- The new factory is running on gas, free carbon footprint = meaning it meets the EUR & US environment pollution standard

- EV Battery makers would love to BUY from MSC as is production "clean" from Carbon .

- Who will directly deal with MSC in near term esp EV Companies : TESLA / NIO ..........

wait to be seen as how TESLA approach Indonesia Mining Companies for JV !!!

Great event to be kick start like Pmetal (alum), MSC is going to be one of the TIN poster boys (with another local Company that roar !!!!!)

Semiconductor like TSMC and Apple will have super new competition for TIN Materials as EV automakers will GRAB OR PLACE IN ADVANCE in near future & of course compete with China for sourcing.

TIN = Future Gold / Bitcoin as a result of a person called Elon Masks (TESLA) that push to perfect EV batteries in the world

To EV like
EU & US Companies i.e.
a. VW Group (BMW , Porche),
b. Mercedes ,
c. Tesla,
d. Nio
e. Semiconductors industries
f. Solar

TIN Price is NOTHING as long as materials are in place because Western Companies need to create alternate route of sourcing , due to on going Technology (Cold Trade) War.

TIN Materials for Batteries is heating UP ............ infinity !!!!!

Pro EV Asean Countries : Thailand , Spore , Indonesia

NB: IF Malaysia Govt smart, should
1. Act like Indonesia control nickel export .......

https://www.reuters.com/article/indonesia-mining-idUSL4N2DH17Q

Indonesia, one of the world’s biggest exporters of nickel, banned exports this year while it seeks to develop a full nickel supply chain, starting from extraction, processing into metals and chemicals used in batteries, all the way to building electric vehicles.

2. Same, for TIN export , create supply chain (attract FDI) to build EV batteries factories & export.
Create jobs & transfer of technology.

al880, yes, if we have a smart & efficient govt, they should have encourage or initial some collaboration between the raw material supply chain and manufacturing co to set up a co to produce end product...EV battery,
MSC, Pmetal, PMBtech + Greatech, UWC...

We are marching towards 270. Once hit, it will fly past the previous high of 295 and over 3 ringgit
Even before June results is out
Those who have been patiently collecting for past 2 months will be richly rewarded
Let’s celebrate when MSC hit past 3 ringgit

TIN because of EV Batteries (Demand > Supply) = Future Gold or "Bitcoin".

As EV is booooooming, MSC is sitting on "gold mine", the next 1 or 2 years ...... prices for MSC is going to be at least 10X - 20X. Better than gloves.

Bankers should know better than us of the demand valuation & tech developments

OUR GOVERMENT DO NOT KNOW HOW TO FULL YUTILISED LOCAL TALENT AND COMPANY WHICH INVOLVE IN EV LIKE MSC, PMETAL, PMBTECH, GREATECH UWC. THERE SHALL GIVE INCENTIVE AND ALSO COLABORATION AMONG THE COMPANY AND EXPORT THE END PRODUCT. WE HAVE ALL THE RESOURCES BUT ONLY KNOW EASY WAY OUT.

Yeap.
IF Msia govt tak boleh pakai ,

IF MSC can be proactive i.e.
i. Buy a patent and develop EV batteries or M&A
ii. find a JV with local Company to produce EV batteries

- Call for RI or PI,

MSC will shoooooot to the mooon......... 1000 X

All my target broken
258-262 also broken with volume
After this 263 closing, the next target is immediately 287-305. From then on, no more looking back below 3 ringgit. Will play until June results. Ride on it tightly
The revenue and profits for 1Q21 will be mind blowing for more news write up. 5 ringgit after June. Let’s cheer for it
MSC is the shining star

Build and integrate the whole supply chain for EV within the countriy? Perhaps Our government is more concern the tin mined is 100% HALAL and whether MSC stuff is wearing long sleeve and long pant when working in office.

Brokenzo, i dont think can soar up that fast, better one step at a time. slow and steady is always better. Wanna know whats your thoughts on whether the higher shipping rates will affect MSC's profit, since their mining only 10-20% of their smelting, much of it is from overseas, if im not mistaken. Wonder if it will affect the coming Q1.

Last quarter, MSC withheld 7500t of tin inventory. That inventory value went up by RM227m using the $27.1k/t price.

However KLCI not that highly perform today so dont think so MSC will reach RM 3.00 so soon.

The 2021 MSC's revenue and net profit will continue bullish and outperform its 2020 result due to following;

1) Global tin price rises resulting from demand outpacing supply.

2) MSC gradually ramping up its production capacity at their new Pulau Indah plant. Current state only running at 30% capacity but expecting to reach 100% capacity by end of 2021 or early 2022.

3) 2020 revenue and net profit was distorted due to Covid-19 containment measures/SOP uncertainty and also trade restrictions.

4) Newest technology at Pulau Indah plant aim at reducing production cost versus butterworth plant.

Posted by Newbie_2288 > 2021-04-27 17:31 | Report Abuse

Last year in 2020, some gloves stock rally up by almost 2700%(take lowest and highest price in 2020) due to global gloves selling price increase due to demand far exceeding supply. And is normal in 2021 for correction in the gloves stock following from vaccination, drop in global glove selling price and also more new glove players join the industry to balance off the demand and supply force.

For Tin counter in 2021, currently the global tin prices continue uprising, demand far exceeding supply and also MSC being the third largest smelting company in the world, so there is also a very high possibility the Tin counter stock will follow the Glove counter trend in 2020.

Tin will go ballistic like gloves
Hence MSC next 2 years prices will be crazily high
Just hold tight tight
The float also limited for msc
So the lesser the supply of shares the higher the price go
