The potential reinstatement of Digi to the Shariah list could be one year from now in November 2018 as the April 2018 assessment will still be based on the latest annual audited accounts (Dec 31, 2016).

被SYARIAH剔除名单后 通常很多fund 会被要求6个月内 卖光不是名单内的持股，所以可以等这些fund离场后再介入这只高息股

Due to syariah-fund concept and regulation...they hv to sell-off...not selling bcoz possible revenue/profit drop...

Digi still is a most preferable pre-paid in Malaysia..other telco still scratching head to beat Digi pre-paid business

Banks counters(Ambank, CIMB, etc) with PE less than 15 why still drop? Even BAT also drop a lot despite generous dividends.

Genting is non-halal but it is alive n well. Halal or not is non-issue.If those Islamic banks can give loans cheaper than conventional loans, every business will want to be in. But no lender can price its loans out of the market.
The fact is all telcos are overvalued. Overvalued shares are prone to drop in bearish times.

As to why some stocks with low PE etc still drop, it is likely that they have finished its 5th Elliot Wave n have entered its corrective wave.
That said, Digi has indeed finished its 5th Elliot wave from its peak.

Yup...even last year Maybank crashed to 7.50...and CIMB to 4.30...now both back on track..

Digi RM5.00? for sure not in short term...but in middle term possible..meantime just enjoy 5-6% dividend.

all telco stock already reached saturation level..do not expect any significant future growth in the revenue/profit/stick price...
Most u can get from telco is decent dividend if u catch the stock at weakness...nothing much..
