Visited Encore and surrounding area.... Potential is there but reality Encore is tricky to keep afloat. So with already funding issues.... Hmmm considerable risk short term with unknowns to funding.

Yongtai people if you are reading this..... Open food court/restaurants there now to attract locals and tourists there till funding sorted out. Nice breezy area by the beach but big building with nothing else to do there.

KLSE approve extension of 400 million placement to 30-6-2020 is not necessary as more than 278 million has already being placed by 5 tranches averaging around 20 CT’s...,,2nd tranche was 146’500’000 at 23cts...so balance of about 122 million can be easily placed out at 17 cts before CNY.....so with nearly RM74 million raised ,Yong Tai should be ok for the moment...

.. They must build some attractions next to Encore fast. Few people I spoke to says children bored half way during long show... After that just nothing else around in the middle of nowhere....
Hope the best for Yong Tai but picture not so clear as they are short millions from initial target plans due to share price drop.

Melaka is unlike KL or Bangkok or Sg which is big cities with a lot of high quality international events. These kind of event will attract international visitor which more willing to spent on cultural event instead of shopping. Besides China tourist, YTB should also focus on this.

I used to travel overseas and many countries... And visited many many places.... Sincerely Ytai.... Encore cannot stand alone as China tourists are also Chinese....word will go around...
Excuses for funding does not mean you leave Encore by itself.... Absolutely nothing else there in the desert like place for now. Except the Dawn a distance away progressing well in construction...
2 million cannot do makan area for encore crowd?..at least locals can still go there mah...
But yep guess you got money issues...

be frank, this nyonya show no market here. they can have mr. bean show, magic show, mini concert, lion dance competition at encore, be variety a bit, not everyday same cultural show, until the workers oso vomit liao.......
