there was 6 in the running for Warisan Merdeka Project.

1. UEM Group has teamed up with South Korea’s Samsung for the bid.

2. IJM Corp Bhd is heading a consortium with Bumiputera company Norwest Holdings Sdn Bhd and Japan’s Shimizu Corp.

3. Malaysian Resources Corp Bhd (MRCB), led consortium comprises China State Construction Engineering Corp

4. WCT Bhd partnering with Arabtec Construction LLC.

5. TSR Capital Bhd partnering with South Korea’s Daewoo group

6. Seacera Group Bhd formed a consortium with Bumiputera firm Spaz Sdn Bhd and China’s Sinohydro Corp and Shanghai Construction Group.

So, why Seacera outstanding from others 5 big brother ? anyone can share ?

Sinohydro is very competitive company in bidding power projects. Hope they bring it to this as well.

If based on price alone, China's consortium would have very good pricing. Second would be Korean's consortium.

Shanghai Construction Group is ranked as the 16th largest construction company in the world based on 2011 revenues. Don't only look at the local big names

I been in shanghai in Sept 2014. I saw Shanghai construction Group building second tallest building in the world at the moment. The way they construct the building very very well manage.

PNB has share in IJM, MRCB, and other competitor. But PNB has no share in Seacera.

So the question is "Do you think PNB will award the KL118 project to Seacera". I don't know.

But I'm very confident PNB will award the project to very experience company, complete package, competitive price.

so look at Shanghai construction, they building 2nd tallest building at the moment.

look at Sinohydro, very experience in power project.

Look at Seacera, can manufacture tile for the whole KL118.

Seacera, SCG, Sinohydro are more complete package than other competitor.

Sinohydro is 23rd biggest construction company in the world in 2014 base on revenue.

One common issue with China Contractor for power projects is delay and quality. Although in recent years, it has improved. Hope for the best for seacera consortium. :D

Dont forget seacera are doing export to oversea, which more than 30% of their revenue. these are transacted by US dollar. this will improve their revenue, since US dollar get stronger.

Setahu saya kebanyakañ rumah pakai kayu even lantai pun bersimen biasa,about bangunan kerajaan,rsnya tdk lah rosak terlalu teruk smpai kena tukar mozek, lagipun now kerajaan pun tgh berjimat..just my 2 cents..
