FY14 Results – Above Expectations

FY14 core net profit of RM111.8m came in above expectations, accounting for 121% and 134% of HLIB and consensus full year estimates, respectively.
Deviations were due to marginally higher-than-expected revenue and lower-than-expected tax rate.
Declared 4th interim dividend of 12.0 sen per share (4Q13: 6.2 sen) with ex-date on 9th March.
Moving into the new financial year, Pharmaniaga remains optimistic as the pharmaceutical sector in Malaysia is showing potential growth opportunities.
Updated model with the latest pharmaceutical data and rolled over our model. In turn, FY15 and FY16 EPS were revised upward by 15% and 12%, respectively.
Reiterate BUY with higher fair value of RM6.00 based on FY16 P/E multiple of 14.5x, 20% discount to US peers.

增非特许权贡献至60% 发马药剂平衡业务

（八打灵再也1日讯）发马药剂有限公司（PHARMA，7081，贸易服务组）将平衡其商业组合，于3至4年内，把旗下非特许权业务，从现有的42%提高到60%。

集团主席丹斯里罗汀透露：“目前，我们的特许权业务贡献58%的集团收益，而非特许权业务则贡献其余48%。我们的目标是拥有一个健康的业务组合平衡，如非特许权业务将在3或4年内增加到60%。”

他说，集团放眼增加其于本地和海外私人保健领域的据点，以及在其Royal Pharma品牌下开设更多独立药店。

“目前，我们在柏淡（槟城）、巴里文打（霹雳）、万宜（雪兰莪）和莎阿南（雪兰莪）开设了4间药店。未来，我们计划在国内策略性地点开设新分店，但现阶段我还不能透过任何进一步的细节。”

在其制造部门方面，发马药剂董事经理拿督法西拉表示，该集团已拨出4000万令吉资本开销，以维持其生产工厂。

“平均而言，我们的制造工厂现拥有70%的使用产能。扣除少数制造工厂外，我们的工厂已经接近全面产能操作。”

在截至2014年12月31日止财政年，发马药剂建议派发每股28仙的净股息，比2013财政年的每股16仙高出近一倍。其2014财政年净盈利达到9380万令吉，也几乎是2013财政年5520万令吉的倍增。

法西拉补充：“这相等于77%的股息派发率，反映出6.1%周息率。这项业务普遍上属于一项抗衰退业务，我们希望维持我们的动力，在今年继续创下双位数的成长目标。”
