I have spoken to a very successful copper wire manufacturing company in Melaka (non public listed). Why is Tawin with RM500 million annual sales making less than a roti canai shop? Running at a loss !!! Why did the Whiteman COO run away from tawin? Tawin's Trengganu copper park will not generate ANY profits. My sincere advise to all of you...cut losses and run away! Lots of these PLCs' "related party transactions" disclosure in the audited accounts, cannot be trusted at all ! Tawin's ex-owner, the Taiwanese, had only one supplier of raw materials. From here, one can deduce where the profits are parked. The new owners are not any better. PLEASE RUN FOR YOUR LIFE! Let the underwriter and the major shareholder(s) sink with the rights issue.
