Relative Strength Indicator is indeed a good indicator when used with other indicators. However, it is a momentum indicator & do not forget that it is adjusting from the recent low of 1.03-1.04 due to irrational selling & forthcoming dividend. Market has no memory & TP is subjective depending on individuals investment strategy.

Good resistance at 1.16-1.20 that will allow for “weaker holders“ that bought at the lows to take short term trading profit until Ex-Date on 3/10. Otherwise, uptrend seems intact.

My entry point lower based on accumulation at 1.04-1.05, having exited from substantial gains in VSI, Air Asia, Aeon & Airport based on bottom fishing strategy. With the 3.84 sen dividend going Ex tomorrow, you should be able to generate double digit capital gain too in due course based on your low entry price of 1.10, even after the short term price adjustment due to dividend payment & negative market sentiments.

Based on Research Houses TPs, a 40%-50% upside from current low price instead of FD interest of 4% :) Balance Sheet rock solid and earnings growth will certainly propel it towards TP in due course.

Affin Hwang Capital starts coverage on Electronics Manufacturing Services sector

Affin Hwang Capital Research has initiatiated coverage on the Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) sector with an “Overweight” rating.

In a note today, the research house said the sector is not merely a beneficiary from the trade diversion but also set to ride on the rapid expansion of their common key customer - a global renowned household appliances brand.

“ATA IMS Bhd (Buy, TP: RM1.80), is our preferred sector pick, as we expect the group to continue charting strong growth on the back of capacity expansion coupled with margin enhancement from further vertical integration.

“We also initiate coverage on V.S. Industry Bhd (Buy, TP: RM1.60) given the group’s diversified customer mix and strong ability in securing new contracts, which makes it a prime beneficiary of trade diversion.

“Elsewhere, we highlight 3 other companies, namely SKP Resources Bhd (Non-rated, RM1.08), i-Stone Group Bhd (Non-rated, RM0.18) and MTAG Group Bhd(Non-rated, RM0.42), which form part of the "D" ecosystem,” it said.

Dyson will no longer embark on electrical car manufacturing and this news will be positive for all existing Dyson’s EMS Companies like SKP Resources. In addition, Budget 2020 tax incentives will also be positive news for manufacturing sector too. Last, Last Call :) for the start of a new uptrend.

KWAP have direct (11%) and indirect interest (3%) of ~ 14% Shareholdings in SKP based on their Bursa Announcements. The indirect holdings are being held and managed by KWAP independent Fund Managers and they have a free reign to Buy or Sell.

ATA IMS BERHAD has secured five customers namely Sagemcom, Schneider Electric, Swift Labs, ecobee and cricut to begin production in CY2020 (more details in Exhibit 1). ATA has rented a 250K sq ft site dedicated for non-main customer projects, where the facility will be used for plastic injection moulding, final assembly and warehousing purposes.

The combined topline contribution from these customers is expected to be around RM150mil to RM200mil in the first year of production.
