rough calculation..........

RAPID capex 88,000,000,000

KNM get say 5% = 4,400,000,000 (5% x 88,000,000,000)

KNM net profit say 5% = 220,000,000 (5% x 4,400,000,000)

less 25% tax PAT = 165,000,000

Over 3 years = 55,000,000 per year

EPS = 0.0369 (55,000,0000/1,490,000,000) assuming no rights or bonus issues to raise fund..

at PE 15 the price is 0.55

but very likely the share capital will be increased so this 0.55 is subject to downward revision due to earning dilution.

Hong Leong Investment Bank (HLIB) said with the PIC project, the country's total refining capacity would increase to 935,300 bpd from the current 635,000 bpd while petrochemical related products are expected to increase from 2.6 million tonnes a year to 6.5 million tonnes a year.

HLIB said oil and gas companies that can potentially leverage on Refinery and Petrochemicals Integrated Development (Rapid) project are some onshore fabricators and process equipment providers like KNM, Muhibbah Engineering, Eversendai, MMHE and Pantech and downstream players like Dialog, Petronas Chemical and Petronas Gas.
