KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 5):ARB Bhd’s share price fell by almost 30% on Friday (Nov 5) after the IT software and platform provider announced on Wednesday its proposed rights issue to raise money to finance the company’s business expansion.

Many Shareholders getting smarter not to pump in more money as seen in many other stocks resulting in under subscription of rights issue shares.

They claimed they were an IoT company, but they were not. They just sold ERP solutions and cloud cosec. I think they wanted to be a real IoT company. To become an IoT company, they needed fund raising.

I knew @blackchicken, just that the receivables and resignation of auditor are a big red flag where i am afraid it blew apart in coming quarters. The company cash rich but still wanna raise $$, you knew there's a hole somewhere. Or the amount of cash they have aren't real.

KUALA LUMPUR: Kobay Technology Bhd is undertaking a private placement of up to 10 per cent of its issued shares to raise up to RM153.14 million, at an illustrative issue price of RM5.00 per share.

In an exchange filing today, Kobay said the gross proceeds are expected to be utilised to set up new aluminium products manufacturing plant (RM60 million), partial repayment of bank borrowings (RM50 million) and working capital for the group's manufacturing division (of up to RM42.7 million).
