Just compare the % increase in revenue,profit and the exchange rate. Profit has increased more than proportionate than both revenue and the USDollar rate. Financial year ending 31.1.2017 no doubt will be a good year for Comcorp. I don't expect any hedging loss against the dollar anymore. Comcorp was badly affected by the subprime crisis back in 2010 and 2011. Those years are behind Comcorp now. Profit margins has increased,better things to come as Comcorp is heading in the right direction.

By comparing the % increase in revenue,exchange rate with profit,we can see profit has increased more than proportionate than both the revenue and the ex.rate. With better profit margins Comcorp should do a lot better for the coming year. I do not expect anymore fx hedging loss. Comcorp has established itself,the subprime crisis is over and done with. Icon888 prediction achievable by end of this year,maybe nearer to the 1 ringgit mark.

raider, look at details I guess it is not turnaround, but rather "saved" by weak MYR. Once MYR strong again, they lose their advantage and go to STRESS scenario again.

Yes the RM play a big part but so is other export counters loh...!!

But i still it is a big improvement minus the currency & Comcorp will still do well even if Rm strengthen to Rm 3.80 to USD 1

Comcorp is in a very weak position vis a vis its overseas customers.. no bargaining power at all...

Comcorp is selling and shipping to its overseas customers without LC and cannot even dictate its overseas customers to pay it using trade financing..

If it has done so at least the overseas banks would have been able to check on its overseas customers financial standings.. ie if overseas banks approved its overseas customers applications for trade facilities that would have a given an indication that overseas customers are ok

Worse case senerio.... Comcorps overseas customers cannot get trade financing facilities because they are weak financially... and the trade receivables balance is rather high...

One hiccup and that is it... all bad debts..
