Treasury share will not dilute ordinary shares. Treasure share is owned by the company. Now they gv u free. Just like public bank. They sold off their treasury shares they bought in 2008 recently at near peak price to boost quarter earnings.

Given treasury shares as dividend is even better than given cash because it won't reduce share price and won't dilute share.. won't dilute share

When company purchase treasury from market and keep it, this reduce the outstanding share, do good for share holder, but if he declare share dividends, let means your share on hand is increase, and u said the share still the same? Okay, let said I buy from market 4000 share, the price is tm1.66, after ex-date, I got 200 share, so now I got 4200 share on hand, and u means the share price still is rm1.66, are u serious?

You just deduct price one-day before the ex-date by 5percent, that the adjusted price.
