Pleasantly surprised with the good quarterly result. As some pointed out, the best quarterly GP margin so far and lower quarterly bottom line due to share of associate loss and also higher admin exp. Though the company warns about slower demand in 1st quarter 2019 which means next quarter result may be flat, the company actually expects a growth rate prospect. I reckon can buy for long term investment while the price is still low.

From 4Q2018 QR pg 20-21. "Based on the treasury shares book cost, the share dividend is equivalent to 2.5 sen per share."

This means when the company's treasury bought the share, it was 2.5 sen per share.. or after the capital changes such as bonus/right issues, the average cost was found to be 2.5 sen per share. What it means is the company bought the shares low and now repaying the shareholders with cheap shares it bought long ago. That's great news to me!

Anyhow, the good news is, we get a 5% dividend independent of the share price. Since the shares are owned by the treasury already, there is no change to paid up capital and no shares dilution/shares cancellation.. ideally, assuming approximately no market cap changes, the price of the stock is ideally unchanged ex-dividend (unless bonus/right issue). Hence, we get 5% more shares ex-dividend. Good dividend yield, considering it's a growth stock..

The strong closing augurs well for the price to trend higher next week.
It should revisit 1.74.
A clean break will pave the way for it to test 1.82 and 1.86 respectively. Happy trading!
