What happened. I keyed in to sell at 95c and went to sleep. Woke up to find all sold and hit the roof at 1.02, up 24c. only made 10c :(. Something big is up? too late holding no more
sold asset to realise cash? do u think they will pay to minority shareholders? This is really a big question. When oil palm hits RM 3500 , this co pay nothing , when the price hit rock bottom , it choose to sell assets to make profits ? What type of co is this ? Real heart ache co?
I think it is a matter of time that the company will have to unlock the values, because of family feud. The father is 95 years old. His young wife and sons who are older than the wife are sitting on the board. Only sold 2500 ha and can make profit of RM140 mil! Company is asset rich... and with the coy in limelight now, other suitors to buy their assets or seek out backdoor listing may surface... just my guess.
Lim AS, HARN LEN paid dividend every year in 08, 09, 10, 11 when they make money. Only in 12 this company turn into net loss then they stop paying dividend.
lizziewong, agree.... this 1st piece of land sale to BOUSTEAD may just be the beginning. Don't forget FGV (or some call it FELDA) got more than RM4.0b cash earmarked to buy plantation landbank
This coy is very low profile... only read more about it after the estate sale. Price shot up alot since Friday, but I think for those who are patient to wait the reward would be very good. Instead of buying property, maybe can accumulate the shares.. hopefully I am not wrong.

I came to know from the papers that harn lern was formerly put in trust by the shareholders to the present set of management . Lands were supposed to be distributed to the landless but somehow or rather , the lands finally ended up in some other ppls hand via swapping ? May someone enlighten me on this?
sorry..should be egm for shareholder approval of the disposal....still dunno date yet(but within 2 months) but sale n purchase should be completed by latest jan 2014.
Agree IF the owners sell off all their land or if they do a re-evaluation of their assets. Then NA maybe adjusted to > rm3 actually..wif present sale NA is already at rm2.13. My 2c is when share price was at 75c, NA is rm1.36...after sale, NA is rm2.13 meaning the share price should be at rm1.20 minimum now. 01/10/2013 12:09
