Of the 6 main glove counters, Comfort came in 1st, surpassing even its recent high of 2.41. Really amazing! Rubberex has more to catch up for it to reach its recent high of 1.35...

Based on yesterday's closing, one would expect the uptrend to continue into today.

Of course, it ultimately depends on the operator's game plan. Eg, day before yesterday, it was deliberately done to press down share prices to flush out contra players and to collect cheaper tickets.

We can only see things in retrospect.

Five new cases infected with a "double mutant" of COVID-19 variant have been identified in the San Francisco Bay Area, California, CNBC reported on Thursday. The new cases were identified days after the area reported the first such case.

The variant was first detected in India last month. It was dubbed "double mutant" as it carries two mutations of SARS-CoV-2 strains E484Q and L452R.

These mutations are not new. The E484 was also present in the variant that was first detected in South Africa and Brazil. And the L452R mutation was observed in the U.S. and Europe, but the new variant carries both of them. "Something that has not been seen in other variants," the CNBC reported.

It is suspected to be more contagious and reduce the effectiveness of existing vaccines.

Covid infection rate is approaching highest level ever, WHO chief warns

The head of the World Health Organization said Friday that an alarming rise in Covid cases has pushed global infections toward their highest level in the pandemic.

What if the world without glove in one day?
