Actually I think you're not quite right: the share price was $20 in '96 when the co. was being sold, so the price transacted was lower than $25 a share. AFTER the sale, the new owners(led by Soo Tian Chai) attempted to corner the stock & eventually drove it up to an artificially supported $208 in Sep '97, perhaps trying to lure another greater fool to sell it to, but FAILED due to the AFC breaking out in Thailand.
darkxfs finally sold all price around 0.360-0.370 from 5/11/2020-27/11/2020 keep 2 years + if safe money in bank interest more than i gain zzzzz now find other stock to play 28/11/2020 9:25 AM
Poor darkxfs...gave up just one month before the goreng LOL
To think I actually accumulated a peak of 205,000 shares from Aug '13 to Jan '14 at a cost of just under 44c... which I eventually sold for a 10k profit by the end of '14.
This book is the result of the author's many years of experience and observation throughout his 26 years in the stockbroking industry. It was written for general public to learn to invest based on facts and not on fantasies or hearsay....
