If so, opportunity to accumulate all the way to the “real bottom”. Absolute good return for the middle term property cycle recovery :) I even queued to buy at 1.20 & 1.21 yesterday but trades not done at all except for 1.22 & 1.23.

Anything Is Possible ... Never Say Never. The “true bottom“ is possible if SP Setia do not announce dividend this year. However, if at “true bottom” level or even at current level, PNB/EPF/KWAP should contemplate taking SP Setia Private at 2.

Word of caution though for all Ikan Bilis ... Can only buy and average down all the way as investment with absolutely spare cash (ie.not for contra and margin players). Based on latest Annual Report, PNB/Amanah Raya(ASB)/EPF/KWAP/GIC Singapore/Vanguard and other prominent Institutional Funds holds > 86% of SP Setia !

Question: How to you dispose over 200 million shares from 1.90 to 1.20 without triggering any selloff notification apart from EPF collecting it all?

While the selloff patterns clearly show institutional selling and likely force selling - are other funds exempt from announcement or simply hold too little?

Inb4 going to say stuck some at 1.25, 1.40 so have to weather the storm.

Only 4 Institutional Funds (PNB/Amanah Saham Trustees/EPF & KWAP) above the 5% threshold that requires transaction notifications. Other Institutional Funds are way below the threshold as 1% already constituted > 10 million of Shareholdings.

Wow ! Closed at 1.26. Looks like Margin Calls and force selling over and the start of an uptrend :) It is fundamentally too cheap to be able to buy SP Setia at 1.20 (Or 2.00). “Liquid investment” & exposure in Properties with NTA > 3.

Currently, IOIPG not in my portfolio as I am still negative on property sector but attracted by SP Setia recent price level. Hopefully, SP Setia shares accumulated at 1.22,1.21 & 1.20 these two days will be positive, being the only foray into property counter in my Portfolio. I will certainly start to analyze (Annual Reports/QRs etc.) and look into IOIPG since I am not fully invested (40% Equities 60% Cash) as yet.

@ Ncm88 A quick review seems to indicate IOIPG to have rather similar parameters as SP Setia. However, need to have further in-depth studies on the past few years financials, QRs, Annual Report, stock charts/trend etc. before taking a position, if it meets my “bottom fishing” strategy. Old man need to sleep by 11pm and will analyze further tomorrow.

So far i know these months property sector doing good due to OPR . Government taking measures to lower threahold is good, definitely need a boost in our economy . Ioipg has good property in singapore and china , safe from brexit .

My personal view is that those that have already collected at 1.50 & below will definitely be looking at gains after current consolidation phase as recent “force selling” seems to have tapered off. A good QR announcement in November together with dividend declaration will definitely propel the share price higher.

Vulture in a happy mood. I thought my “bottom fishing” strategy has turn awry in Parkson but managed to get out from my “dog stock” @ 0.25/0.245 this morning :) Have been in loss position since bought @ 0.23 and almost cut loss @ 0.21 earlier this month. Now, more fire power to zoom into SP Setia, if necessary.

U can check GBP went from 5 to 5.4 in just 3 months , why worry ? Also their money should not be immediately transferred back to malaysia (but definitely will show in paper on forex gain and losses )
