So here the latest calculations on sunright..
Sunright owned ~48% of KESM shares... 
KESM market cap= RM$724M or S$241M 
48% of S$241M=$115M 
So dividing by the number of shares outstanding for sunright $115M/122M, that stake alone is worth ~94cents... 
Now Sunright is trading at 78 cents...or a 17% discount for its stake in kesm alone....

So...although the discount has narrowed to 17%..from 65% previously ...but it still an opportunity..
Given:
i) sunright is flush with cash of around S$71M (debt S$25M)- at grp lvl.
ii)latest EPS is 7.5c or PE is ~10x earnings.. vs another company in similar industry AEM whereby the PE= ~20x..although AEM the growth in revenue is higher ie 400% vs 100% for sunright..
Iv)the industry and economy outlook in the US is good..due to one best employee call -donald trump..
V)outlook of KESM good...

i am also looking at another company similar to kesm and sunright..
In fact its no secret n its also in the rhb top small cap jewel..
Its quite good so far- it moved up to now 53cents..

Semiconductor stocks have been on a hot streak in 2017, with demand booming from all sectors of the economy

PwC predicts that “vehicle electronics could account for up to 20 percent of a car’s value in the next two years, up from only about 13 percent in 2015.”

As chip demand from computers and mobile phones plateaus with market saturation, experts believe the coming automotive revolution will be a growth driver for semiconductor products.

Consultancy firm McKinsey identified four major upcoming trends in the automotive industry: vehicle electrification, increased connectivity, autonomous driving, and shared mobility services (such as car sharing).

Each one of these innovations will require computing power and software to manage, driving demand for computer chips produced by semiconductor firms.

“Between 1995 and 2015, semiconductor sales to automotive OEMs rose from about $7 billion to $30 billion,” McKinsey said in a report. “Current projections suggest that sales of automotive semiconductors will continue on their upward trajectory … between 2015 and 2020. … That would put annual sales for automotive semiconductors in the $39 billion to $42 billion range.”

I made Sunright the second largest component of my stock portfolio last year(after Huaan) mainly because the market seemed to ignore its stake in KESM.

I soon realised that the market was plain ignorant because these were low profile companies.

Now that this fact is widely known, I'm already UP +233% on my investment last year :)

Avi-tech 
Current share price : S$53.5c 
EPS : 4.1c (estimated EPS 5c) 
Dividend : 2.8c , 1.8c going X on 13/11 
Yield: ~5% 
Cash: ~24m 
Current PE: 13x (estimated PE : 10.7X) 
Debt: near zero. 
Its doing burn- in testing for semiconductor companies in the automotive industry.. 
The owner/boss highlight he may explore value accretive potential M&A with its strong cashflow and cash balances (near zero debt). 
The stock have run up a bit together with its peers like sunright and AEM.. 
Its a decent growth company with strong dividend and cashflow & no debt hence can pay good dividend, with the potential for M&A , and in the booming/bullrun semicon sector... 
Rhb thinks that this is a "jewel".. in its top "small cap jewel" list..

SOLD 3 biji kecil Sunright @ 82.5c to lock in a 243% gain in just under 2 years, sacrificing 90 cents of dividend...earned M$443 after commissions :D
