KUALA LUMPUR: The proposed merger between Digi.Com Bhd (Digi) and Celcom Axiata Bhd (Celcom) is progressing as planned and will likely be completed in the second quarter ending June 30, 2022, subject to approvals.
MIDF Research said the merged unit would likely see the combination of both telco groups' scale, experience, and financial strength in supporting MyDigital aspiration.
"Potential downside risks are weaker-than-expected earnings, intense mobile competition and termination on the proposed merger with Celcom," the firm said in a note today.
On that note, MIDF Research raises Digi.Com Bhd's revenue for the financial year (FY22) by 2.1 per cent while FY22 and FY23 earnings forecasts by 7.7 per cent and 7.5 per cent, respectively.

I thought they are telco? Why did they collect cash and use to goreng goreng?

4. Spent RM30M to buy DGB @ 0.12, now price is 0.06
5. Spent RM44.6M to buy CHeetah@ 1.32, when market price is only 0.30

remember what we predicting 3-6 months ago? When we said XOX will be down to 2sen when it was stood at 6sen that time, we got busted by the cybertroper and those silly investors. Now what happen?? Those who trusted our warning, you are welcome. Those stubborn investors, only god and help you now.

So what's next? XOX will be announcing share consolidating anytime soon rights after there fully release and offload their ESOS. After the share consolidation, the price will keep droping again to somewhere near to 3sen, then there will be another corporate exercise call right issue. Whatever ticket you kept until then, will worst less than 10% of what it worst as of today.
