It's nonsensical... Inari has nothing to do with trumps stupid ban on Huawei. Malaysia is still going full steam with 5G and most likely can't run away from Huawei. US will just be left out themselves from the rest of the world

@spectre007 Broadcom is Inari biggest client.

And Broadcom has 5.3% revenue exposure to Huawei, but dropped significantly after stopped Android usage.

Which means that there will be lower demand of semi-conductor from Inari, and slower 5G development.

Key point:

为了避开关税，加上中国劳工成本日趋增高，美国和韩国的手机品牌预计会把生产基地转移至东盟国家。华为占博通（Broadcom）销量的5%左右，而益纳利美昌（INARI，0166，主板科技股）的40%至50%销量则来自博通。

“华为事件将对全球半导体领域带来短期的负面影响。然而，其他手机品牌如苹果（Apple）和三星（Samsung）可能渔翁得利。”

整体来看，他认为在中国以外的半导体业者，都有可能因为贸易战而成为潜在受惠者。不过这些利好因素并不会立即显现，因为贸易战还是会冲击市场的情绪。

他最看好益纳利美昌，并给予该股“买进”评级和1.80令吉目标价。

他认为，当5G网络正式上路后，5G手机对无线频率（RF）的需求将提高，并且带动公司的无线频率业务。
