This darling stock never missed my radar. The review of stocks will be incomplete without a review of Presbhd as fas as i am concerned. Pre-election price was RM1.16 (3.5.2013) and post-election price was RM1.27 (6.5.2013). The price never turn back since then. With the price closed at RM2.88 on the last trading day of 2013, it represents an increase of 126%. Not to forget, the company chucked out 3 dividend payouts amounting to 9 cents per share post-election. Expecting another atleast 3 cents dividend for Q4 and that will make 12 cents for the whole FY2013. This translate for a decent yield of 4.1% at current price. I expect the dividend payout to improve further in FY2014 and thus, the dividend yield will be supportive for the upward momentum of the stock price,

Its price closed at RM2.88 on 31.12.2013.

Target RM3.51 (Stock Rating: Add)

Prestariang's bullishness on its new oil & gas training venture was evident during our Corporate Day. We concur that there is strong demand for this business over the next few years. We maintain our EPS forecasts but raise our target price as our sector P/E has risen to 14x 2015 P/E (previously 12.5x). The higher P/E rating also reflects a scarcity premium as private higher education stock, HELP is likely to be taken private soon. Prestariang remains our top small-cap pick.

What Happened
Prestariang participated in our Malaysia Corporate Day conference yesterday, meeting around 40 fund managers in a few small group meetings. There were a few positive surprises from the presentations i) The company is seriously looking to scale up the oil & gas training business as its existing school is already operating at full capacity. It is looking to set up a new oil & gas training school in Johor, probably sometime this year. ii) There is expected to be strong revenue contribution from Autodesk software in 4Q13 as the company finalised new distribution terms with Autodesk in 3Q13. Prestariang is now the master distributor for Autodesk software for the education and oil & gas sector. iii) Prestariang is looking at acquiring regional businesses which have synergies with its current core business. The company has already hired a consultant to search for opportunities in the region.

What We Think
We are also bullish on the company's recent venture into the oil & gas training business, which should be the main earnings growth driver over the next few years. Our forecasts do not incorporate any earnings from the expansion plans for this business. The expansion of this business in the region is long-term positive for the company but is not expected to make significant immediate or medium-term contributions.

What You Should Do
Remain invested in the stock. Its long-term growth outlook is exciting, thanks to its recent venture in the booming oil & gas training business. With HELP International (HELP MK, Not Rated) likely to be taken private, there are limited options for investors looking for stocks in the education sector, other than Prestariang. This could mean that investors will focus more on Prestariang for exposure to the education sector.

Presbhd ni lain sikit dgn dsonic Dan eco sebelum ini. Dsonic Dan eco kurang seller sebelum ini. Tapi pres banyak seller kurang buyer. Nasib Baik label harga tinggi. Baik Kalau hari ini peach RM3 senyap senyap. At least isnin akan stabil dalam harga ini. Isnin akan Ada Lebih banyak buyer.

Nice closing. I believe more retail investors will be attracted to the fundamental of presbhd. ROE of 53%, 46% & 45% 3 years consecutively but PE only 15.

The above is Biweekly price movement. Price had up by more than 100% since the beginning of year 2013. If one has invested RM50k at the beginning of the year, one would have make 50k in returns. With that kind of returns, it is just beyond me why some people willing to bet so much money on speculative stocks with so much worry and loss of sleep and the returns could be paltry. Unless one just want to enjoy the sense of excitement, just like gambling in casino. Anyway, investing in stock market require patient, trust and conviction and expect less excitement.
On another note, an unpublished report by a research outfit has put another 20% upside potential. That's as good as you could get from just the report. From what I knew, with the kind of robustness of the company's nature of businesses, highly committed staffs that the company has and most importantly is well-connected, the research outfit would probably have to revise the report in time to come, again and again.
