I guess many unwary ikan bilis got caught thinking there will be second rebound from 0.580 to 0.620 just days earlier when price at 0.580..some earlier comments confirmed more like a trap

I think Cabinet already decided on the SKIN status. I think it's confirm to re-tender. Heard the issue was because of project progress is less than 15%. But I think to differ this is due to political agenda.

PUTRAJAYA : The Immigration Department's RM3.5bil national immigration control system (Skin) has been cancelled, said the Home Ministry.

Its minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin said the decision is to make way for the development of a new system that is comprehensive, effective and user friendly.


"We also want to develop a system that is value for money and that can save government funds," he announced at the Immigration Day celebration on Monday.

Muhyiddin said the project would be given a priority given the urgent need to improve the departments system.




On Nov 16, the minister had said that a new immigration system which is more secure, cost-effective and efficient would be developed.

1. Compensation
2. Whether to appoint another vendor at much reduced price

The problem was prestariang overquoted by miles away from the reasonable price and it was found out during re-evaluation

There were aldy few hundred layoffs in oct..and some of them re applied to enter back to my working place...

Quite pity....they jumped there becos of the SKIN...now many of them in limbo
