Many events pop up lately fm nowhere .The GOM has got less and less to no money to hve lavish spending. Zorro frul will need to provide some sort of a contingency funding in the event of an unfavourable outcome in his next buget coming before we can assume this is going to be resolved in the very near future.

More likely we will have a new PM, Finance Minister, Attorney General as well as a new Chief Justice before we get any closer. That is how slow Malaysia gets things done. Irony still nobody in jail for all the corruptions after GE14 for most of the blunder like 1MDB..

Any more slippery slide like this week for next week.... , last last ..the super titanic the BODs might end with no jobs after finding it impossible to hold off PN17....just hanging ....cliff

The High Court had previously granted Sapura Energy Bhd and 22 of its wholly-owned subsidiaries a nine-month extension on the restraining order against their creditors, which will expire on March 10, 2023, to allow the group to restructure its debts under a scheme of arrangement.

“As the restraining and extended restraining orders are in force, with regard to Petition-1 (SPSB), the company will be requesting for a stay of Petition-1 pending the outcome of the proposed scheme of arrangement.

“As for Petition-2 (SFSB), the company will be requesting Petitioner-2 to withdraw its petition as it was filed in breach of the restraining and extended order. In the event Petitioner-2 fails and/or refuses to do so, the company may be forced to take further legal action against Petitioner-2,” said Sapura Energy.

KUALA LUMPUR: Dua lagi anak syarikat Sapura Energy Bhd iaitu Sapura Pinewell Sdn Bhd (SPSB) dan Sapura Fabrication Sdn Bhd (SFSB) menerima petisyen pembubaran kerana gagal membayar tunggakan berjumlah RM906,194.

SPSB dan SFSB diberikan petisyen itu Jumaat lalu, berikutan tiada pembayaran ke atas invois daripada Plomo Group Sdn Bhd dan Marine Creation Sdn Bhd, demikian menurut satu makluman kepada Bursa Malaysia hari ini.

SPSB didakwa gagal membayar RM392,120.70 berkaitan kontrak membekal minyak gas marin dan air bersih kepada sebuah kapal.

Mahkamah menetapkan 28 Julai dan 6 September ini masing-masing bagi pengurusan serta pendengaran kes.

Sementara itu, SFSB gagal membayar RM514,073.34 di bawah kontrak pajakan kapal.

Tarikh pengurusan dan pendengaran kes masing-masing ditetapkan pada 9 Ogos dan 23 Ogos ini.

Mahkamah Tinggi sebelum ini membenarkan Sapura Energy dan 22 anak syarikat milik penuhnya lanjutan sembilan bulan untuk menahan arahan terhadap pemiutang mereka, yang akan luput pada 10 Mac 2023, bagi membolehkan kumpulan menstruktur semua hutang di bawah satu skim pengaturan.

"Memandangkan penahanan dan lanjutan arahan penahanan sedang berkuat kuasa, berhubung Petisyen-1 (SPSB), syarikat akan meminta untuk mengekalkan Petisyen-1 menunggu hasil cadangan skim pengaturan.

"Bagi Petisyen-2 (SFSB), syarikat akan meminta Pempetisyen-2 untuk menarik petisyen ini kerana ia memfailkan pelanggaran arahan penahanan dan lanjutan.

"Jika Pempetisyen-2 gagal dan/atau enggan untuk berbuat demikian, syarikat mungkin terpaksa mengambil tindakan undang-undang selanjutnya terhadap Pempetisyen-2," kata Sapura Energy.
