Najib menjelaskan, beliau bertegas untuk menyelamatkan Sapura Energy disebabkan ia membabitkan 10.6 juta pelabur dalam Pemodalan Nasional Bhd (PNB) yang mana ia membabitkan nilai pelaburan RM5 bilion untuk menguasai 40 peratus pegangan dalam syarikat itu.

Beliau pada masa bersetuju tindakan perlu diambil sekiranya berlaku penyelewengan dalam Sapura Energy yang pernah menjadi syarikat O&G kedua terbesar dunia itu, namun syarikat itu tidak boleh dibiarkan muflis kerana ia akan merugikan negara dan rakyat

Mabel King of Construction is on the Spotlight this week. Gamuda Bhd announced a special interim dividend of 38 sen per share, just over a month after the engineering, property and infrastructure company successfully completed its divestment of four highways to Amanat Lebuhraya Rakyat Bhd (ALR).

The special dividend’s ex-date is Dec 13, with entitlement on Dec 14. Last month, ALR said it has completed the acquisition of four highway concessionaires, following its issuance of sustainable sukuk murubahah amounting to RM5.5 billion in nominal value. The four highway toll concessionaires are Lingkaran Trans Kota Sdn Bhd (Litrak), Sistem Penyuraian Trafik KL Barat Sdn Bhd (SPRINT), Kesas Sdn Bhd (Kesas) and Syarikat Mengurus Air Banjir dan Terowong Sdn Bhd (SMART).

On 1 September 2022, the Corporate Debt Restructuring Committee (the “CDRC”), approved the Company’s application for the CDRC’s assistance to mediate in its debt restructuring negotiations with the MCF Financiers. Following the Company’s admission to the CDRC regime, the relevant financial institutions are expected to observe an informal standstill, and the Company was expected to submit a proposal for a restructuring of its debts owed to such financial institutions within 60 days from 1 September 2022.
In line with such requirement, the Company submitted a draft Proposed Restructuring Scheme ("PRS") to the CDRC on 29 September 2022, and has since been participating in CDRC-mediated meetings with the financial institutions to seek feedback on and to refine the terms of the PRS.

Clearly Management is actively trying to resolve 10bil Debt with CDRC mediation. Draft proposal already
submitted 29 Sept. All i can say is SAP Directors are following Standard Corporate restructuring with No
intention of seeking Political Help. Strong Will Management. None of Director has SAP shares anyway----

2 months has passed since they submitted the draft and had met with the lender.....how long still needed....they have started this since mid of the year, then asked BNM help in 3rd Q....hope to conclue soon, only can hope
