One of my take away from last night meeting with my Bollywood Team is “your network is your net worth”.

Naming the government a unity government is the best way to save face and avoid humiliation from being called a minority as no one really has the simple majority. Many people used to attack the Umno President has now repented and close rank.

Malaysian has voted and PM has chosen his team. Given the present scenario, I have no issues with his selection. So, Mabel is willing to close rank with this government to be part of my network as we have bigger challenge coming up over the next two years...

Just got an informal info from a reliable contact on the way forward for sapnrg..things are recovering internally including their vendors Reorganizations..streamlining services on multiple fronts..recent talks n discussions with backers seems promising as well..in terms of how fast the change going to materialize is not known but good signs indeed.

Just like DSAI, our Sapura CEO also inherits many legacy which is a major issue. Recap: Sapura Energy Bhd has recorded a revenue of RM1.17 billion for the second quarter of the financial year 2023 (Q2 FY2023). Sapura said it also recorded positive earnings of RM313 million before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation (EBITDA).

In the first quarter of the financial year 2023, Sapura recorded a profit of RM92 million after tax and minority interests, a profit of RM250 million before Ebitda and RM886 million in revenue.

Sapura has assets like oil and gas fields that is already producing 40k barrels per day and ramping up to 100k per day in 2 years via their 50% stake in Sapura OMV. In 2019, they sold this 50% share to OMV for RM4b when oil prices were lower. Today it is worth easily RM6b due to higher oil prices. On top of that Sapnrg has National Gas reserve worth RM 110 billion. It is the largest O&G support asset owner in Malaysia and 2nd largest in world.

Fortunately, CEO is a calibre CEO. he inherits many legacy contracts which is a major issue. The contractor that was engaged by Sapura Energy during Sharil's time was his crony and family related companies. That's why the term was not favourable to Sapura hence the reason DMAT rather write off those subsidiaries rather than pay the contractor.

As long as PNB is still a major shareholder and your holding cost is below them, there is no reason to fear. Recap: ASB/PNB acquired that 99mil shares on 27jul22 at 4.5 sen, which surely not for a short-term play. If institutional investor going for long term that is meant they have faith on Sapura’s going concern. This is good news for Mabel...

In 2018 if Mabel not mistaken, the right issues share priced at 30sen. Ex right was 41 sen. In 2018, when all these transaction was done, Sapura Energy net asset per share was RM1.60. So anything less is not good for PNB. PNB need to push above 41 sen. All PNB need is to just push SAP to 50 sen than Auditor On-Going-Concern remarks will disappear. Equity hit 7bil. Current Debt is 10.7Bil (short-term) but soon received assurance from Bankers to roll-over for 7years or ever and ever. Purrrfect Scenario for everyone...Anything more is a BONUS...

Under the Reset Plan, the Group’s business segments refocused its bid funnel based on capabilities and risk appetites, while enhancing project management discipline. The Group is currently executing close to 90 projects globally, nine of which commenced in the Q2 FY2023, and completed 18 projects in the same quarter. Its order book to-date stands at RM7.7 billion, 12 tender oil rigs (largest fleet in world) and many offshore ships. Great Progress. Resolving the past to regain a stable platform for the future with nice Order Booked and Fantastic Sales Funnel across the Globe. Good thing is the joint ventures (Brazil and E&P) seem to be doing well. Drilling Business as expected continue to perform

ikan bilis are just the pom-pom Girls then.
Basically SAP is living off Drilling Rigs ( 10 out 11 are working full time ) And the return is actually Better than
Velesto. Strange but true. Considering 11 rigs one year ago are still in Cold stack( not working), demand for
Rigs are incredible. Unless SAP can get access to Bank Loan, revenue will NOT breach 2.0bil. Breaching 2.0bil
revenue will see profit in 200--300mil range rather low but these ancient contracts has low margins. I saw
management are renegotiating ancient contracts. If the other party is desperate to capture raising Oil price,
SAP might see more lights in the Tunnel.
