KUALA LUMPUR (Dec 21): OCK Group Bhd (OCK) shares rose 1.09% this morning following a positive technical outlook on the stock.

At 9.25am, OCK rose 0.5 sen to 46.5 sen with 2.71 million shares traded.

PublicInvest Research said OCK Group Bhd (OCK) is currently supported above short and medium term EMA after undergoing further consolidation.

In a trading ideas note today, the research house said improving fast paced weekly MACD indicators currently signal reasonable entry level, with anticipation of continuous improvement in both momentum and trend in near term.

“Should resistance level of 48 sen be broken, it may continue to lift price higher to subsequent resistance levels of 50 sen and 51.5 sen.

“However, failure to hold on to support level of 43 sen may indicate weakness in the share price and hence, a cut-loss signal,” it said.

It’s interesting to see how the operators want to do next few days after eating up so many millions of ock-wa last 3 days.

They know ock-wa is as good as toilet paper and yet they want to create false buying to deceive retailers.

Sentiment for telco remained neutral amid any new blue print from the new government. Many may believe OCK falls under telco sector, in reality, OCK in one or two years time, its contributions from Towerco biz will exceed its sub-telco biz (UOB Kayhian (Jan2018) valuation of towerco:sub-telco is 70:30).

Towerco biz has some similarity to toll roads, they have long term sustainable cash flow, and also growing exponentially when it exceed certain breakeven capacity, which can only be seen in 2019 onwards. [Based on MD's view, the price deterioration lately is due uncertainty & sale by Shariah fund manager, and sentiment will recover when balance of Shariah fund managers sell off substantially].

if u want to invest in this company. SOS - instead of blindly believe on the MD's statements to workout on your projections, just list down what factors that will impact the business of OCK. By listing all down, u can assign discount or premium to OCK.

The problem with this counter is that financially it is underperformed for many years. Many sweet promises, many analysts coverage and majority of the shares is hold by the institutions. At one point of time, if OCK financials still so depressing, those fund managers will just sell OCK znd and it will hard hit on OCK
