Thecall, Sona is buying some stake in Singapore RH Petrogas, not taking over. With the stakes it can capitalize on the RH oilfield in Indonesia, Thailand with immediate income.

At the same time it is also in talks with some players in the oil and gas in African nations. So it takes some time to come to fruition but the RH stakes could keep the company with stream income immediately.

RH Petrogas halted trading today in Singapore for material announcement. We will see whether anyone or any biz news here is bullshitting later.

But the SONA pricing already factoring this news for couple of days, up from 40 sen until now 45sen.

dear KLSK88,Sona's news ralated to PH Petronas is not a secret.Out in Star biz front page 0n the 27/9 with other news as well.

The good thing is the management didn't denial it until today. The fact that the counter moves one sen a day is also good as it didn't attract Bursa attention. As mentioned in OUB's report, they are quoting the 'Channel check' to issue the note to clients to cover their backside as well.

RH news is confirm. Whether Sona will subscribe to it is another story. If Sona interested then they need to call for EGM. RH had reported losses for their 2nd quarter as some oil drilling not successful....found water instead of oil.

Seem the news is confirm since RH proposed private placement of up to 10% of their shares. That day when news rumor come out, it did said that Sona proposed to subscribe some small stake in RH.

Of course some exploration will be failed but they have oilfield that producing crude so no big issue comparing Hibiscus which just struck oil recently after so long.

last nite after our mkt close, dowjones future down about 90++, but at the end their mkt down 58++, so today our mkt reaction is quite good since they expected dowjones would down about 200 pts
