Foreign Fund starts buying...Ringgit strengthen...West Port Strengthen..



FOREX: Ringgit Rises Against US Dollar

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 24 (Bernama) -- The ringgit rose against the US dollar on Thursday, in line with other regional currencies, dealers said.

At 5pm, the local currency was quoted at 3.1585/1625 against the greenback, better than Wednesday's 3.1665/1695, on expectation of solid growth in China's manufacturing sector.

"The buying support for the ringgit is on prospect that the government will address the country's fiscal deficit in the 2014 budget announcement tomorrow," a dealer said.

Meanwhile, the ringgit was mostly higher against a basket of currencies.

It was slightly higher against the Singapore dollar to 2.5509/5535 from 2.5547/5575 on Wednesday but slightly lower against the British pound to 5.1117/1175 from 5.1110/1172.

The domestic currency rose against the yen to 3.2438/2485 from 3.2547/2591 yesterday and advanced against the euro to 4.3536/3580 from Wednesday's 4.3558/3609.

en.saufi, bijak tektik en saufi menggunakan allocation keluarga. saya agak amazed dengan tektik en saufi to letgo at 2.70 and buy back after. did you anticipate the loan investors to throw their stocks for you to pick up after? perlukan experience untuk make that call. so for UMW we should be doing the same too? saya rasa game die sama, bile tgk xde momentum, everyone will start throwing. ramai pelabur sibuk analyze PE, long term prospect tapi in the end on listing day trus throw.

If goverment want to attract foreign investor to enter the market by this ipo, gov fund akan push this ipo price forward. Memang company yg tengah strong x nak buat ipo sebab untung kene bahagi. Lagi pun westport tidak perlu any tambahan duit untuk run this business.

Roslan osman..cornerstone investors x leh buat annoucement coz belum jadi substantial holder..iaitu kurang2 5 %...kobar..bagus jawapan anda pada org yg bijak pandai tu..kene ingat westports 0 debts..khazanah mmg selalu disposed glc...termasuk lah tenaga..tm..axiata ect melalui private placement yg akan diuruskan investment bank..tapi mmg cepat abis lah di ambik big funds..smpi x cukuplah..lain kali ingin beri komen..pikir dulu..Jgn serkap jarang...x tahu..bertanya lah..saye pon masih belajar lagi..

Baca komen faham dulu..oang kata bukan pasal cashflow ...tapi pasal performance masa depan sykt was-wast. Pd 1/11/2013....kita berforum di UMW O&G pula. Westports kita pantau dr jauh pula. Saya berharap ada kalangan rakan pelabur mendapat break even atau keuntungan jika menjual saham Westports minggu depan.Yg ada wang boleh terus simpan sampai jadi berlian.Yang kurang peluru pula boleh pantau UMW O&G utk mcari kutg.Cheers kawan-kawan pelabur!
