2. Are you sure 10k vaccine were received? Without NPRA approval, it cannot be used or for trial.

According to Dr Noor Hisham, the Sinopharm vaccine, which is also known as the COVILO Suspension for Injection COVID-19 Vaccine (Vero Cell), Inactivated, was developed by China National Biotec Group Company Ltd and manufactured by Beijing Institute of Biological Products Co Ltd.

He said Malaysia’s conditional registration approval for the use of the Sinopharm vaccine has been given to Duopharma (M) Sdn Bhd.

The distributorship agreement has been signed by Kanger and Sinopharm Group Hunan Changde Medical Co Ltd. Instead, its not an MOU.

2. Kanger has entered a collaboration agreement with China-based Sinopharm Group Hunan Changde Medical Co Ltd (Sinopharm Group) for the distribution of Covid-19 vaccines developed by China National Biotech Group Company (CNBG) in Malaysia.

Under the agreement, Sinopharm Group has appointed KIB as the sole distributor for the vaccines, medical devices and products in Malaysia. KIB will also undertake the marketing and promotion of Sinopharm Group's products in Malaysia, however, both parties will sign a separate agreement in regards to specific product category, price, purchase price and payment method.

(Remarks: This agreement shall take effect for a period of three years effective from 25 September 2020 until 24 September 2023)

Duopharma and Pharmaniaga had contract signed with government . Only they can supply vaccine to the government for NIP . Since so many demanded for Sinopharm (after WHO approval) , then someone has to get it.

Will see what will happened in August for private sector. If truth that, it is not limited to only one importer/ permit holder per manufacturer , we will see many other companies will import in Sinopharm vaccine too. Whoever can get the supply. Kanger signed MOU to have priority on the supply BUT THEN Sinopharm have many many other branches who can supply the same. Should already know that, although Duopharma has never mention about Sinopharm, but some other companies did ( not only Kanger) .

Until today, there is one big question not answered. There are 2 type of Sinopharm vaccine. One from Bejing which is WHO approved and another one from Wuhan which is not known if it is approved or not.

Big question is which Sinopharm Kanger signed up for? Or rather the China company which is handling Kanger case is in charge of Wuhan or Beijing Sinopharm vaccine.

Anyone know this answer?

Dpharma is the registration holder for Sinopharm. Just like Pharma is the registration holder for Sinovac.

private sector will pay to vaccinate the worker if they really want to re open business... most the country already do this... only worker with atleast 1 dose allow to work, or else must test every 2 week... do u think the boss willing to do test every 2 week...?? what can do pay to vaccinate worker..

in medical terms, private market means private companies can source the vaccines from authorised distributors (Duopharma/Pharmaniaga). Not that anyone can bring in vaccines and drugs from outside of the country. Don't be so naive. All will be done in record. You try buy an antibiotic tablet from pharmacy and see..

This is not like glove factories where any Tom & Jerry ahem.. Tom, Dick, and Harry can setup, although still need local council approval.
