Syarikat Apple ini bukan saja membuat perlanggaran paten diMalaysia tatapi juga dinegeri lain dan Syarikat Apple telah pun "kalah" tiga kali kes Mahkamah itu .
Oleh sebab itu "bukanlah" Syarikat yang lebih besar atau lebih berkuasa yang tentu menang !

If Salute didn't take take any legal actions when others manipulated with the patent rights, the company (Salute) would collapse !

Just imagine: How to do business when one invented something but another person claimed the invention(s) to be his or hers and simply sell the devices here and there with different prices. ?

That's also could be one of the reasons accounted for Salute's drop in revenue and profitability in the past quarters.

Salutica was involved in ear phones and appeared to have the edge over other competitors. Alas, for that particular Christmas, its product did not sell as much as expected. This happened a few years ago. It also supplied to Apple.

Its share price started to drop in tandem with its poor business performance. Now it is in legal tussle over infringement of patency rights with Apple.

Out of the blue and rather unexpectedly too, its share price rose to above 1.20 and 1.40 a couple of months ago. What led to this sudden rise then? For those who sold out during the price surges during that period, bravo to them indeed.

Speculative counter. At one time, it supplied headphones to Apple. A few years ago, it was speculated that its latest headphone to be launched in time for the Christmas season would be a great hit with consumers. Its share price was just above RM 1.00. Alas, that product did not sell well. I think Apple launched another product or something similar. After that, Salutica's business went down a lot. Its share pirce followed too. It dropped to close to 50 sen per share.

A few months back, for reasons "unknown", its share price shot up to RM 1.30 or slightly higher than that. Those who sold were lucky to be able to cash out of this counter.

The court case will be a drawn out affair for now.
