Warrant premium 40% is reasonable for the strong growth stocks like HSSEB. It's same thing happened to Hibiscs warrant premium now 55%...

Trending down

Posted by captainphilip > 2018-05-04 12:32 | Report Abuse

its quite high risk right now, MAYBE investors are worried on the election result coming soon..
if Najib win, then price shall go up like crazy..
if the Opposition wins, then theres the risk of cancelling the HSR & ECRL project..MAYBE..

*HSS Engineers’ 1Q18 result was disappointing. Core net profit grew 5% yoy to RM3.4m in 1Q18.

* Core net profit of RM3.4bn in 1Q18 was below market and our expectations; comprising just 7-8% of consensus FY18 net profit forecast of RM41.5m and our previous estimate of RM46.2m.

* Progress billings on its record-high order book of RM963m was slow as most of its major projects were at early stages of implementation.

* We expect better earnings starting from 2Q18 when it consolidates SMHB Engineering.

* Given concerns of a delay in the implementation of the recently secured RM273m Klang Valley MRT Line 3 (MRT3) and slower new contract procurement, we cut our EPS forecasts by 9-33% in FY18-20E.

* We maintain our BUY call with lower TP of RM1.44 (RM1.66 previously), based on target FY19E PER of 20x.

Business as usual for East Coast Rail Line
16 May 2018 7:36 PM
BY INTAN FARHANA ZAINUL

KUALA LUMPUR: It is "business as usual" for the multibillion ringgit East Coast Rail Line (ECRL) project despite speculation it could be delayed or shelved.

Malaysia Rail Link Sdn Bhd's (MRL) head of corporate communication Rosmah Mahmud said on Wednesday: “There is no stop order for the ECRL project, it is business as usual.”

She was speaking to reporters at Ilham Tower here on Wednesday.

MRL CEO Datuk Seri Darwis Abdul Razak had a briefing session with the council of eminent persons at 4pm together with MyHsr Corp CEO Datuk Mohd Nur Ismail Mohamed Kamal.

Rosmah said that further details on the matter would be made by the Council, of which no timeline has been revealed.

To recap, the ECRL is owned by MRL, a special purpose vehicle wholly-owned by the Minister of Finance Incorporated (MoF Inc).

Upon completion, the RM60bil project which will link Port Klang to Pengkalan Kubor, Kelantan, will also ensure a more efficient movement of people and goods, through 24 stations.

The 668 km ECRL, which is targeted for completion in 2024,would create a land bridge over Peninsular Malaysia between Kuantan Port and Port Klang, allowing freight to bypass Singapore and parts of the Strait of Malacca.
