afifi the reason is because SD got a lot of active government and GLC contract and project currently on going and to let it gone or bankrupt is not in the table. Government will not allow it to happen. So they are looking for the best solution. That what i know.

I think some big fish like Karim will use their Serbadk shares as collateral to borrow cash from IB/Brokers. If the margin is broken their shares used as collateral will be forced sale unless they have cash to topup their accounts?
