Shares price declining due to (1) market sentiment. (2) the two metallic silicon furnaces haven't start commercial yet . The first metallic silicon furnace is undergoing hot commissioning . Once it has been passes into commercial production in the first half , the second will undergo commissioning later this year . (3) hidden hands now pressing down the price and collect back at lower . Anyway just be patience as long as you are a long term investor shouldn't worry much about the short term downtrend . Always believe OMH pasti boleh dan tetap boleh .

From what I understand, their output remains the same at 360ktpa even after with the new refurbishment and etc. Only in the future, after 2023, dont know when will the output reach max output. I also notice the price of FeSi and SiMn have been dropping, if it continues to drop, the output increase will not compensate for the drop in price.

The temporary suspension the ferrosilicon furnace for maintenance works was the main reason behind the drop in ferrosilicon production . Once the furnaces completed it will be ramped up to its capacity of 10,500 to 12,250 tonnes per year . OM Holdings is diversifying into Metal Silicon in order to deliver higher value - added production . Based on analysis calculation , every US $ 100 mt increase in ferrosilicon and manganese alloy price assumption would boost OM Holdings earning by around 20% .
