"Knowledge without discipline is dangerous, discipline without knowledge has little value" 1) We are here to help out any I3 members of their stock TA. If you need help on any stock chart just address us as “Dear TCB..” 2) We encourage traders to buy stocks with a trading plan. Before you buy please have a Stop Loss in case the stocks go against you. 3) We encourage traders to cultivate a winning habit, that is to lock in profits often when the opportunity arises. Be focused. We are here with one purpose only, that is to make money, never let a winning trade become a losing trade. 4) We encourage traders to set a Trailing Stop to protect their profits when riding on a winning trade. 5) We encourage other traders that have TA knowledge to participate and help out others on TA. In this way we all can learn together. 6) We will never recommend any stock in this thread as Buying and Selling is solely your own decision and your own risk. 7) We may post the stocks that we are interested in, together with a TA reading on it for the purpose of sharing. These TA readings are to cultivate habits of 'Discipline' and 'Plan' before trading .

tsy88 and Dunknow - good morning. With the Dow plunging almost close to 300 points, probably there are opportunities to collect some good counters at low prices.

Dunknow - if it is the start of correction (in fact started about a week ago), then the conditions are not suitable for intra day or contra trading. Having said that there will still be counters going up but it will indeed be tough to pick them out. No need to rush unto things, cash is king now !

Inwest88 - good morning. Yeah, another steep fall on the Dow. Today will be another sea of red again which will provide buying opportunities. Some stocks are battered down ! Cash is king, no doubt about it. Have a productive day ahead!

Inwest88- i gather that only news related counters with positive news will buck the overall bearish trend.

Inwest88, tsy88, Dunknow, riff, michaelwoo and all - Good morning.

The market is indeed bearish and I believe the Emas Index has broken down from its uptrend line. Irregardless, it is important to trade based on your trading plan. Inwest, is right, cash is king now. And as a friendly reminder, it is important to note that you may want to patiently wait for selling pressures to wane before considering taking position if you intend to bottom fish or you will end up catching a falling knife.

michaelwoo - welcome and thanks for dropping by. Well, this is an open forum which you can pop by anytime and if you need to seek TA on stocks, just post your request here. We will need a bit of time to respond but we will definitely respond. But do note that our response is not a recommendation to buy or sell and we do not recommend stocks here.

This is a place where we share information and you can contribute any information that you so wish as we believe in learning from each other. But we are strong advocates of trading with a plan to minimize losses, especially during times like now and maximize profits.

Good morning Dunknow / tsy88. Hopefully the local market will behave like US.
The Dow is so volatile in the last 2 weeks and now with the Fed hinting that interest rates will stay near to zero rates, the buying frenzy returned, igniting the biggest rally (gain of 275 points) in the index this year.

Inwest88 - good morning. Yesterday was even worse with 900+ losers and only a handful of gainers and most stocks gapping down! With Dow recouping all of the previous day's losses, let's hope today brings us a meaningful rebound ahead of budget day tomorrow. Happy trading.

michaelwoo - Pasdec:

Still in a correction phase and may have found a good support level at 0.54. Immediate resistance is at 0.58 and is an important resistance to overcome at the moment in order to test its next resistance at 0.66. The selling momentum seems to be tailing off and may go into a sideway consolidation phase if 0.58 is not taken out.

Perhaps you may want to look into the FA aspects too to help you decide better. A quick scan of its FA revealed that in 2013 it recorded a decreased revenue and had there not been a substantial gain on disposal of quoted investment, it could very well have a recorded a drop in profits too. However, they did improved their performance in its latest quarterly report. In 2013, they had an increased negative cash flow position from operations. Please note that this is just a quick scan of its financial statements. So, the company will need an improved performance this year as one of the catalyst to a higher stock price.

Besides the option of holding on to the stock, you may want to consider releasing capital from this investment to enable you to re-channel your investment into other more profitable trades. These are just some of the considerations to look at and you will also need to know why you invested into this stock in the first place. It could be based on certain expectations on the company and are these expectations still valid now.

These are just some of the angles you can explore to help you decide on what your next step is. Hope this helps.

TraderR88 - MEGB:

As at 9/10:

Currently consolidating sideways with immediate support at 0.405. It is unable to clear the 0.43 resistance. Could be trading range bound in the short term. Shares buy back could be seen as a confidence builder to investors.

As at 6/10 by stay_foolish

Stage 4 of Market Cycle which is still very Bearish. It is still trading in Downward Channel. Formed Spinning Bottom on 18/09 which indicate Price Reversal. Further Resistance 1 is $0.43 and resistance 2 at $0.45/ $0.485. Any weakness may find $0.395 as support 1 and stronger support at $0.365.
