Why are you here, there and everywhere? Why you have so much time to spare? Respected newbie duit no one can compare Full of wit, humour, and so,so much for all to share!
Duit - no complain at all lah. Like your witty, humorous style of postings and pun ma. Admire your lengthy, detailed fantastic write-ups oso like Boilerm and Hovid plus....so so much more.
Good night once again. Dont make me mention this a 3rd time, ok, hee, hee.
Bullish after breaking out from its symmetrical triangle on 28/10 with volume when it broke its resistance at 0.925 which now becomes its support level. It has achieved its first TP of 1.04 and will now work towards its next TPs of 1.16 and 1.28. Immediate support is 1.01. Exit if 0.925 support is broken.
Still in a bearish mode and is now consolidating sideways with a 0.245 immediate support and a 0.28 resistance. Any break in 0.28 with volume could potentially signal price reversal. Exit if 0.23 support is broken.
Dunknow - good morning. Wow, dow so strong. Today all green. I entered Ifcamsc Wa this time and not the mother. Noticed that Wa was still at a discount to the mother. Locked in partial profits and clearing balance today. You have a wonderful day with lots of gains !!!
Inwest88 - good morning. Dow indeed strong. And so is our market. In fact trading opportunities aplenty! Bought Ifcamsc Wa, Ijacobs and Opensys. You must be reaping lots of gains. Have another good trading day!!!
Hi wise and humble Duit. How are you doing ? If you were to read my postings you will know that I neither use TA or FA. I have my own method of stock picking ( rather difficult to explain though) but then again it incorporates certain criteria of both. Since this met has served me well all these years I might as well stick to it. Honestly I do not know when to offload it but as long as I feel comfortable and contented with the gains I just sell. I started trading in this counter when it was around 20 sen plus and it has brought me more than 10 rounds of gains. My apologies for not giving you a specific answer. Have a good day ahead with profitable trades

Hi Duit, most of the time I am not in front of the PC during trading hours and thus may not have the time to "shout" but will do if available. Having said that at times I sell very early. At the end of the day, it depends on the individual's level of comfort and satisfaction with the gains. Like TCB always advocates, it's always better to lock in gains and do not turn profits into losses. profits are profits irrespective of the amount.
There are plenty of IJACOBs investors(junior) and short term speculators(junior) here. I will be going off from market for certain periods..... So, with my humble request I sincerely hope you can give a trigger alarm to those juniors. It is GREAT if we can help to lock in gains for them, most are HARD EARNED money. Is ok.... Do it when it is available.
Nice to chat with you. In future when I come back, will discuss with you more...... wishing you healtiest and happiest life always. and of course tip top gain$$$$$ from your trading activity.
Cheers, duit

good afternoon Tsy88,inwest88,duit & TA specialist.. went for seminar this morning,so not able to do any trading..hope everyone have a good profitable day...cheer...
TA specialist, can you please help me to look into Samudra & wa? Also, may i know the effect of trend reversal?is it mean we should enter when trend reversal happened (up),eventhough has been up for more that 10%?For example,SMRT...it break 0.780 on 30/10 (trend reversal) & up for more than 10% & today it continue to 7%...please advise me...
Another question is gapping up?we can see many sure gapping up for the past whole week,so if gapping up,how do we know it's genuine or it's just temporary?Sorry for many question, thanks
Hi Duit, like YCB I normally do not advise others about my buy and sell calls in order not to invite unnecessary and unwanted comments. After all my basis is not proven. At the end of the way it all depends the individual to make the final decision and not subject to external influences. No one can predict the direction of the market.
Inwest88 ~ yeah,I saw the AT write up,infact I didn't let go even during the market correction…Samudra actually propose about 10% dividend, which is very good return. However,it has been stagnant too long around 0.480 ~ 0.530..and I am wondering if the RTO really take place,as times is getting shorter & shorter..
Dunknow - it only started moving yesterday / today. So you have to decide whether you want to lock in some profits or let it run. But once the activity dies down it will go back into hibernation. Just my view.
It underwent a technical rebound and is now trading back to its prices during the pre-correction period. Currently consolidating with a support of 0.80. It needs to take out its immediate resistance of 0.815 in order to re-test its previous high of 0.875. Exit if 0.80 is violated.
Dunknow - I agree with Inwest88, Alpha did a very good analysis on Samudra. You should take a look at his write up.
TA wise, it is currently testing its resistance at 0.55 and will have support at 0.515. A break in 0.55 will move it towards 0.61. Samura-WA will be up against the resistance of 0.275 if it breaks 0.24 and will have support at 0.21.
In a trend reversal, especially a bullish one, there is really no guideline on when is the right time to buy in. It depends on your risk appetite. But whichever price level you enter, you need to keep an eye on the resistance levels or target price that are coming up. And of course, as we always emphasize, constantly review your trailing stop or stop loss price whichever is applicable.
You may want to buy in and lock in profits along the uptrend or you may want to trade at a larger quantity during the initial breakout and at a reduced quantity as the price trends higher. It all depends on your risk profile and as long as you have a trading plan, you will come out good.
As you know there are 4 types of gap ups which are quite easy to differentiate during normal market conditions. However, what we witnessed over the past few weeks were the exception rather than the norm, when there was a big correction across the board in most stocks with panic selling aggravating the sell down. Now that the dust has settled, most stocks are gapping up as you observed, because they were grossly oversold. I see these gap ups as part and parcel of the technical rebound and not a trend reversal as most of the stocks are finding their way back to their previous levels.
However, if there is a positive fundamental change in the stock, you will probably see a breakaway gap supported with volume after a period of consolidation in the stock and this signals a trend reversal. And this is the kind of gap ups that are most profitable.
Dunknow - good morning. Re Samudra. Do take note that the RTO is just a prediction by AT. It MAY OR MAY NOT materialise within the specified time frame. Or it may materialise much, much later say 6 or 7 years! So do not expect that it will happen. Have an enjoyable weekend.
good morning tsy88 - thanks for your advise...let's hope it will materialised.Have a pleasant weekend ahead...Dow up so much, hope that it would give a good start in this November ... cheer...
Hi Mr Profitman!A very good morning to you!Your write up is so meaningful & you always full of wisdom in your writing & nevertheless, you are so generous in sharing your thought...we are so lucky to have this generous TA specialist here who's constantly feed us with knowledge!
'However, if there is a positive fundamental change in the stock, you will probably see a breakaway gap supported with volume after a period of consolidation in the stock and this signals a trend reversal. And this is the kind of gap ups that are most profitable.'---> can you please elaborate more in this?or maybe if you can give an example?when you said breakaway gap,is it mean it break to the resistance level or it's by percentage?
Thanks again,Mr Profitman...have a good weekend ahead!
Kiki...super like for your humbleness. ..then mayb I can call you brader lor...a brader who is always there to guide, to assist...yeah....no more Mr....it will b less formal, but respect is always there, brader Profitman....kiki...
Just to refresh your memories, there are basically 4 types of gaps, namely common gaps, breakaway gaps, runaway gaps and exhaustion gaps. You can get a very good explanation of them in any TA books or online sites.
Common gaps are nothing exciting as they are caused by ex-dividends, ex-rights issue and others and we do not pay much attention to it specifically. Breakaway and runaway gaps are the more exciting and profitable ones which offers more trading opportunities. With exhaustion gaps, a sign of an end to an up/down trend, we need to trade cautiously although there are still trading opportunities here.
Filling of gaps means that the price retraces to the price prior to the gap up/down. It is as if there was no gap up/down.
A breakaway gap happens after a congestion of prices at a certain level usually due to news or expectations of a new contract or mergers or any event that impacts on the fundamentals of the company positively. The volume is high on gapping. It is not characterized by resistance levels or percentages. The price usually jumps up a few bids on opening from the previous day's close. Breakaway gaps usually marks the start of another uptrend or downtrend.
The above is a very brief rundown on gaps but you can get a very good explanation of it in some of the online TA sites.
Profitman - good morning. Thanks for the explanation on the 4 types of gaps and filling of gaps. Am now aware and can differentiate. Really appreciate and no need to go through the online Ta sites.
Dunknow - good morning. Yeah, hope tomorrow brings a good start for November trading. Also hope to see positive developments for Samudra. A beautiful Sunday to you...
