Microsoft to move top AI experts from China to new lab in Canada

Microsoft is moving some of its best artificial intelligence researchers from China to Canada in a move that threatens to gut an essential training ground for the Asian country’s tech talent.

These people said the move could affect 20 to 40 staff. A person close to Microsoft said fewer Chinese staff will move to Canada this year, where the US tech giant is creating a new lab staffed by experts from around the world.

Answer : No doubt! Plenty of genius in China! But don't be so blind with current geopolitics! Taiwan is hedging on Japan nowadays! Thats' why of late Japan saw some resurgence! Current PM of Japan seems to do very good job! It's better for quiet but result orient PM compare to late Abe!
So many things have happen in short span of one year! We seeing this BRICS New World Order! We also seeing US trying hard to regain superiority!
But one thing about China that we so admired, was a chairman that embrace moderation and modernization! That was an era build upoin Chairman Deng philosophy! Xi wanted to work with evil Putin to make "change not seen in hundred years" to form evil alliance to change the current international system. The results showed that it will not work as Putin is going to lose the war, Xi will be the next of Putin if invasion Taiwan.

Due to high jobless, property bubble burst, pay cut, housing loan defaults, can't withdraw money from local banks, local government bad debts etc. local Chinese do not support Xi leadership as previous. Global supply chain restructuring and technology banned affects the growth of development. Production of cheap items will not bring the country to next level. The worst has yet to come.

As an investor we shall invest in those country stock market in strong alliance high reward industry that is proven currently. Don't be conned to sell strong currency and buy weak currency. Most importantly to avoid any geo political adverse effects stocks such as technology banned and property bubble burst/payment defaults stocks.
