MAS climbs on out-of-court settlement

Malaysian Airline System Bhd, the national carrier, climbed 1.8 per cent to RM1.16, poised for its highest close since May 30.
The company reached an out-of-court settlement with former Executive Chairman Tajudin Ramli, according to a stock-exchange filing.
Both sides withdrew legal suits and all counter-claims related to losses at its cargo business in Germany. - Bloomberg
