The revenues and PBT for Nestle for 2022 should be better than for 2021.
Still a great company with very strong economic moat.
Generating huge free cash flows which were almost all distributed as dividends annually.
Continues to grow at high single digit growth rate. Require very little capex, all organically, to grow.
If you have owned this company for many years, you know how rewarding this has been and still is.
Is it not true, that the really big fortunes from common stocks have been garnered by those:
- who made a substantial commitment in the early years of a company in whose future they had great confidence and
- who held their original shares unwaveringly while they increased 10-fold or 100-fold or more in value?
The answer is "Yes."

Talking about comparative study, General Raider remember Dlady & Nestle share price were Rm 70.00 & Rm 155.00 compare to insas about rm 0.90 about 6 yrs ago loh!
How did Nestle & Dlady perform after that leh ??
Why Dlady & Nestle share price stagnant but decline big to today Rm 23.90 and Rm 120.00 leh ??
Is this not value trap meh ??
On the other hand, the latest Insas share price move up, commendably to Rm 1.21 mah!
People say Insas value trap, but actually it perform much better than bluechip Dlady & Nestle mah!
So do not be misled by 3iii mah, he only know how to talkkook loh!
He should look at himself in the mirror b4 giving very unintelligent comment loh!

Do a comparative study of Insas and Oriental Holdings. Both are "value traps" by definition. You will learn a lot when you compare these companies side by side.

Outlook
Moving forward, we expect Nestlé to improve it GP margin back to prepandemic levels (around 34% whereas latest GP margin in 4QFY24 stood at 32.1%) attribute to the easing in raw materials price and effective cost measures.
Valuation
Upgrade to Hold with unchanged target price of RM132.60/share based on DDM valuation (k: 6.4%; g: 3.0%) due to the recent weakening in share price.
