dayang is an upstream contractor. their money comes from awarded contracts by oil producers. not directly related to oil price dude. just pay attention to the capex commitment from oil producers

don't say no stock tips ya. T7 rumours secured 3 MCM packages. Dayang same. For Dayang, means business as usual but for T7, that's a big boost to turnover. Profit margin yet to be seen

Petros (Petrolium Sarawak) will spend RM40 bil on capex over next 5 yrs.
This is in addition to RM60 bil capex by petronas annually.
Dayang being sarawak owned will be prime beneficiary.
This is a great FA co.

I agreed.
I have checked many times, the average target price is around 3.59.
8/9 analysts recommended a buy on Dayang.
The highest target price is 4.50 quoted by Philip Capital.
Buying a share, need some patience.
Buy and hold to win big.
Good luck.
Thank you.

When Trumph take over, oil will be surplus. Trumph will authorise more oil drilling to lower down energy cost thus to fight inflation. Take note.

wow, I've read so many hateful comments, which means good to buy.
Petronas risk appears to have been abated with recent reports. Middle East, will be Middle East. Trump may issue executive orders on day one, but output doesn't ramp up overnight in O&G.

Actually EV car it just an additional option for us, unable to fully replace petrol car because EV battery price is not that cheap if spoil then will be a sad case. Moreover, EV car need for 30 minutes to charge, compare to petrol car it just need for 2 minutes only that is quite wasting time. Assume that everyone using EV car, where the additional electric come from? if natural produce enough of electric why they still need oil or coal to run their country?

Dialog loss money. With Petronas downsizing, oil digging increased by Trumph era to battle inflation and war coming to an end sweet Dayang is posed to reclined. Better get out before the sell down comes. Do not tell me l did not warn you.

Will definitely mark your words Vicky and will see whether your predictions come true. We’ll then know if you’re brilliant or a fool !

Vicky, I beg to differ from your view. The scenario that you forsee is at least going to be 10 months down the road. The near future is going to be an increase of profits on the immediate quarter and the next. The loss incurred by Dialog is mainly due to impairments. Anyway... we shall see..!

I am neutral on Dayang and might be my next study counter later…today wish to answer some of the above questions.
I have been using a Hybrid car for the last 5 years (full EV awaiting right timing), no problem with battery so far, touchwood. EV batteries are improving by the day and on internet search, prices are dropping.
Of course, at present it is just an option, there are many news countries that are banning the manufacturing of ICE cars in the next few years.
“Many countries have set deadlines to stop selling new internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles, including the UK, China, and the EU. The goal is to reduce emissions and combat climate change.
Countries banning ICE vehicles
‘- Norway: Starting in 2025, only zero-emission vehicles will be sold
‘- Britain, Israel, and Singapore: Plan to ban new ICE vehicles in 2030
‘- China: Plans to require all new cars sold after 2035 to be eco-friendly
‘- EU: Plans to end the sale of new fossil fuel vehicles in 2035)”
For time consuming charging, it will only be charged during unused time such as sleeping time and working in the office.
The use of solar, wind, etc natural combine (again hybrid) source to produce a reliable Electric is the norm. The reason for still using ‘need oil or coal to run their country’ mainly replacement will be costly; any new replacement most likely NOT coal generated..oil generated could be easily converted to dual fuel with gas/diesel.
As for EV fire risk, that can be minimized with better charging technology and less combustible material. Fire/explosion can only be started with the present of three sources i.e. Air, Energy and Fuel. Elimination of one will NOT cause Fire/Explosion; therefore the risk can be minimized.
Now on Dayang (still blur² as have not yet started study), there are still lots of opportunities for Gas producing facilities in Sarawak. I have visited the Bintulu gas facilities a few times, very impressed by the development. Still remember the old airport in the middle of town, what a great change…
