MISSTATEMENT OF THE NET ASSETS PER SHARE VALUE REPORTED IN THE KANGER INTERNATIONAL BERHAD'S (KANGER) QUARTERLY REPORTT ON CONSOLIDATED RESULTS FOR THE FINANCIAL PERIOD ENDED 30 SEP 2022
Refer to Kanger's announcement on 24 Nov 2022 in relation to Quarterly Report on consolidated results for the financial period ended 30 Sep 2022, there is a misstatement of net assets per share value (NAV) in the quarterly report. The NAV for period ended 30 Sep 2022 was reported as 0.49 sen.
However, the actual NAV should be RM0.486 or 48.6 sen, based on my calculation below:
Total assets included intangible assets / goodwill, arriving NAV at RM0.486 or 48.6 sen.
Furthermore, same misstatement about the NAV figures was reported in quarterly report for period ended 30 Jun 2022.
I would like Bursa Malaysia to look into this query and hope to hear further action taken by BURSA.

We have escalated the complaint to our line department concerned for their further action. The assessment into the matter you highlighted may take time, depending on the complexity of the issues raised. However, we will undertake the necessary actions to ensure that your complaint is looked into accordingly and will take the necessary enforcement actions if there is any breach of Listing Requirements.
As we do not play the role of ombudsman nor do we conduct arbitration, in the event of conflicts or financial losses, the aggrieved parties need to file the claims through the appropriate legal process in court.
We will also make the necessary referral to other relevant authorities should we come across any potential breaches of other regulations / Acts (other than the Listing Requirements).

To be honest, it is always weird to see frequent ESOS without any performance linked to it, at least from financial result released.
After share consolidation in February 2022 till today, Kanger had issued 51,936,794 shares via ESOS, the total issue price amount to RM2.15 million. However, the share price was keep dropping since share consolidation, it does not seems like the big boss can earn much from the retailers. Instead, it is notable that the issuance of the 51,936,794 shares via ESOS is accounted for 8% of the NOSH. It makes more sense that the big boss is issuing, and at the same time collecting the shares slowly. Nobody knows what will happen next.
